Welcome to your new favorite cabin located in the popular Powder House Pass subdivision - On The Rocks. This custom cabin is located on a spacious corner lot, with multiple parking areas around the cabin and a drive-thru driveway great for trucks/trailers filled with those ATVs and Snowmobiles. Located in the heart of the recreational corridor of the Northern Black Hills, you'll have so many adventures right out your door. The Mickelson trail and ATV/snowmobile trails are within minutes from the cabin and easily accessible. Trail # 5 runs adjacent to the Powder House Pass subdivision making it very convenient. Looking for some sightseeing? Spearfish Canyon with its rim-rock canyon walls, streams and waterfalls, great rock climbing, hiking, and trout fishing are just a short 5-10 minutes away from the cabin. Deadwood is only 10 - 15 minutes away and there's taxi service to/from the cabin. Skiing at Terry Peak is within 10 minutes, and some of the main attractions of the Black Hills like Sylvan Lake, Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more are all within an hour's drive. You can hike/bike/snowmobile or ride your ATV right out your door. You'll love the clean, crisp air here in the Black Hills and enjoy some local wildlife that frequents the area as well. Whether you're in the area to enjoy some rest and relaxation from the hustle and bustle, or an adventure filled getaway,

You and your guests will enjoy all the room with the spacious and open 2-level floor plan. The kitchen opens up into the living and dining area making it great for entertaining and there's a walk out to the deck right from the dining area. The kitchen boasts dinnerware service for 24, and fully stocked with coffeemakers, Ninja blender for those frozen drinks, air fryer, waffle maker, 3 crockpots, electric fry pan and electric griddle. The living area has a large TV and gas fireplace great for kicking your feet up after long days on the local trails. The lower level includes a movie room with reclining seating that has a Blueray/DVD player with an assortment of DVDs, internet connected TV, arcade gaming table, a game table with access to cards and a walk out to an amazing patio area. The lower level patio is complete with comfy seating area around a gas firepit table. You'll also enjoy the convenience of having access to a pack and play and high chair, as well as a blow dryer in each bathroom. Our group had 8 adults and 8 kids ranging in age from 8 months to 16. We cooked all our meals during 4 days and nights together. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils and appliances. There is a second refrigerator in the garage which wasn't mentioned in the description, so that was a welcomed surprise. For some reason, the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes, so we learned to rinse them completely before loading. The property manager and owner were very responsive when questions arose. The hot tub was cloudy when we arrived, (because the chemicals were missing and were found buried under a snowbank from the recent snow.) The maintenance people came quickly to remedy the situation. Our kids loved the theatre room and the adults enjoyed the large dining room table for meals, puzzles and games. The cabin worked great for us and we'd recommend to others.

We stayed for a long weekend. It was only 3 of us, but it was set up for much larger groups -plenty of seating, plenty of parking! Beds are very comfortable, and we appreciated having use of the garage (with an opener!) during our stay. Our teenager liked the arcade, and we all liked the comfortable outdoor space and propane fire pit.

On the Rocks was the perfect place to stay for our extended family getaway to the Black Hills. The 5 bedrooms were perfect for our 3 couples and 9 children. The two bunk rooms worked great for the kids! We also loved the theater/game room, hot tub, and community pool. The Powder House Pass development was amazing and well maintained. The house is well stocked with all the supplies you need to make your stay comfortable such as, extra blankets, towels, pillows, soap, kitchen supplies, games etc. The only issues we had was the internet did not work for the first two nights but they sent someone to fix it on the second morning. We also ran out of hot water after coming home from a day of exploring and swimming when multiple people needed to shower, not a huge deal but an inconvenience. Overall we really enjoyed this home and would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. A portion of our party arrived before me. When they got to our rental the heat was not working. Budi made a quick assessment and got us a different cabin very quickly. This cabin was the new cabin.
It’s beautiful and was perfect for our bachelorette weekend. Thank you for taking care of us.

Amazing place! It was clean, beautiful home with lots of things offered. The move theatre was great, games, hot tub, and cozy blankets. It’s close to deadwood but yet far enough away. We all enjoyed our time and will be back.

We had an awesome trip at On the Rocks! Our group was 3 families with 8 kids and the cabin was just perfect for us. The kids had their own space for movies and sleeping and the adults enjoyed the upstairs great room and patio. The cabin is almost brand new and we found everything to be very clean and in working order. We ventured down to the Custer area most days on our trip, but also loved that the cabin was close to Lead/Deadwood. Very responsive host for the few questions we had. Highly recommend this cabin for large groups/families!

Beautiful home. Very well maintained, plenty of space for sleeping and living. Seating for 26 downstairs with all the couches and tables. Hot tub was nice on a cool evening. Gas fire pit was great for s'mores. Neighborhood was peaceful and great for evening walks. Would stay here again!

This was my first time reserving a place this way. Was very easy and Budi was very good to work with. The property was exactly how it was described/presented. Easy access to the trail. There were 4 couples in our group and the accommodations worked great! Would defiantly book it again. Thanks for a great experience!

*side note (upgrade)- downstairs could use a better source of heat. Get's a bit cool watching tv down there.

The property was over all awesome! Very nice and clean, also very bright and spacious for a group with 5 couples we really enjoyed the spa and the large kitchen and the garage for our motorbikes!!! We reccomend this property to anyone :-)

The house was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The AC needs some work but it cools off rather quickly in the afternoon so it wasn't much of an issue. Would stay here again.

Our group really enjoyed this home, it is in a great location with lots to do. Lots of area outside for yard games, huge kitchen area and the clubhouse is a great added bonus.
