vrbo was very good being downtown during Kool Deadwood nights...... the biggest issue is that you do not have a dedicated parking spot. You have to park in the pubic parking ramp. Which during the event is impossible to park at because it's always full.

We continually raved to each other about the fantastic location being close to everything that we wanted to be doing in Deadwood, close to Saloon 10 and others. Having said that, it did get noisy, especially at closing time 2am. Even with the A/C running people were annoyingly noisy right outside the windows as you are literally 2 doors off the main street. It was still the best place to rent for what we wanted and was nice to be able to drop in and take a break without having to go through the entire hotel and up and down elevators. Nice to have the kitchen too to eat snacks or leftovers. There was no remote for the TV so we were unable to use that and the A/C is just a side unit and it took a while to cool off but those were the only two downsides. Maybe doublecheck to see if everything is in working order before having someone come in.

Stayed at property for five days with four friends enjoying Deadwood, surrounding area, all the attractions! Right downtown, and a three minute walk to everything. Great accomodations, perfect location, very clean, and a lot of fun! I'm going back to Deadwood in the near future and will definitely rent the property again! All enjoyed the property and it's location! Best ever stay of my three times to Deadwood.

This is my second year renting this property and I couldn’t be happier about it. Downstairs is a great hangout area and upstairs is perfect for getting ready and sleep. The only thing I would recommend is more mirrors for the ladies to get ready at. 100% recommend for downtown lovers!

Can't say enough great things about the place. Location can't be beat. Plus had parking nearby. Unique atmosphere, and with the bar set-up and TV's on main level it is great for entertaining. Only downfall is that the sleeping arrangement upstairs is a shared sleeping space. Can sleep 4 but you are all in the same room.
Our next trip out to Deadwood will be based on when we can again stay at Door 4a gain.

Couldn’t ask for a better location, right in the heart of downtown Deadwood. Walked to all the hotspots. Property manager was quick to answer any questions.
