Welcome to your new favorite Black Hills cabin just outside of Deadwood, SD known as The Deadwood Barn Lodge. This unique home-away-from-home is sure to give you that one-of-a-kind vacation experience when visiting. Located in the heart of the Northern Hills recreational corridor and close to main street Deadwood, you'll enjoy the convenience to things like ATV and snowmobile trails, skiing/snowboarding at Terry Peak, hiking and fishing, and playing table games at a local casino! It's a great place to just kick your feet up by one of the two indoor/outdoor fireplaces and enjoy some R&R as well. Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower and more are all also within a 1 hour drive from the cabin making it a great centralized location to many local attractions. Whether you're visiting to enjoy an adventure filled vacation, some local National Parks, or just a weekend away, The Deadwood Barn Lodge is sure to make for a memorable experience.

After days enjoying some local Deadwood attractions, trail riding, or visiting the natural beauty of the area, coming home to this wonderful cabin is sure to be a favorite part of your vacation. Located on a nice 5 acre lot, you'll never forget watching the wildlife roam across the land or viewing the starry skies from the hot tub. With 5,000 sq. ft. and a larger 3 car garage, you'll have plenty of room to enjoy your company and have room for those ATVs, snowmobiles and vehicles you plan to bring. The open living, dining, and kitchen area on the main level is filled with windows and a beautiful rock indoor/outdoor fireplace, larger kitchen island, dining table and a spacious kitchen perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your cooking needs during your vacation. There's a large deck leading off the main level dining area that has an amazing view of the meadow below. There's also DirectTV on multiple TVs and WIFI at the cabin. Laundry is conveniently located on the main floor along with one of the bedrooms.

The upper level has 3 full bedrooms which includes the master bedroom with a great view of the meadow below. The lower-level has a nice seating area with recliners, another indoor/outdoor fireplace and a game and bar area. The built-in bar is a perfect place to entertain your guest and there's a poker table along with shuffleboard next to the bar. There's a walk out onto the lower level patio where the hot tub is located and a fire pit out in the yard away from the cabin. There's also a kid' play set in the yard making it a great option for your whole family! There's one bedroom on the lower level as well. Finally, there's a newly added loft above the garage complete with a queen bed, bunk bed and private bathroom. Whether you're visiting to connect with family and friends, enjoy some nightlife in Deadwood, or some adventure filled trail riding, a stay at The Deadwood Barn Lodge will surely give you lasting memories for years to come.

This house was perfect with plenty of space for 14 people! It was very clean and the rooms were a decent size. We really enjoyed the hot tub and used the grill to cook on. The big table in the kitchen is where we spent a lot of time. We enjoyed having a dishwasher and a washer a d dryer to use. The soap was provided! The only minor complaints we had was there wasn’t a lot of hot water for us to shower and we had to stagger showers and there wasn’t enough toilet paper for us.

We had 4 families so it is tough to find a house that can accommodate all of us. This house was perfect! Location was great and had everything we needed. For a large group we had to space out our showers so we didnt run out of hot water but that is pretty minor for a group our size. Would highly recommend!

We took our kids and grandkids to the Black Hills for a vacation. We stayed at this Deadwood Barn Lodge Cabin. We loved the house!!!! Fit our needs perfectly. We were there with 18 people. We loved the space it had. Especially loved the big deck!! We hiked to Devil's Bathtub, rented side by sides in Deadwood, & went mini golfing in Deadwood. All very close by this house. Also went to Rush Mountain one day. That was a little drive to get there but the grandkids loved it!!! Would stay here again if we come to the Black Hills again.

The Barn Lodge was a great house for our group of 15. Plenty of space for everyone with its 5 bathrooms and 6 bedrooms.
Kitchen had everything we needed. The second full size fridge in the basement and freezer in the laundry room came in handy.
Great outdoor spaces on the deck and the patio with plenty of seating.
The kids enjoyed the play set out back also.
The hot tub was relaxing. We were able to park 7 side-by-sides in the garage too.
Location was great too. Grab-A-Cab service to and from the house was fast and appreciated so we could go in to Deadwood without unhooking our trailers.

Would recommend this house to large groups and would stay here again.
Budi was great to work with and fast to respond to emails.

We had a great time staying at this property. A very clean, very spacious home with lots of room both indoors and out. We also loved the location being just a couple miles from entertainment in Deadwood. A great access spot for the entirety of the Black Hills. We would absolutely recommend this location and we hope to be back for future stays.

The house worked out great. The location is great. We had a mountain experience, but only a very short drive to Deadwood. The home is very spacious and can accommodate a large group. It has ample parking for trailers. We will be back again!

Beautiful VRBO that was perfect for our needs! Very close and easy to get to from Deadwood. There was a large group of us and there was plenty of room to spread out. Rapid City was only an hour away and plenty to do there during the day. This VRBO was everything thing that was advertised and will be our go to place the next time we visit. We will highly recommend this VRBO to any of our peeps venturing to the deadwood/Rapid City area.

Our four night stay at the Barn Lodge Cabin was wonderful! Fabulous location for our visits to Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Spearfish Canyon, Devil's Tower & Sturgis. The house was perfect for our 16 person, three generation family. Both decks were large & comfortable with great views. The hot tub was a big hit & the kids loved playing Frisbee & Spike Ball in the spacious yard. The house was clean and beautiful. The kitchen was large & well stocked, making it easier to prepare & clean up the many meals we shared there. Black Hills Adventure Lodging responded quickly to all of our inquiries. We'd highly recommend this property to families that have a large group like ours. We had a GREAT VACATION!

Everything from the description on amenities and location and room layout was accurate. They had more kitchen supplies than any other rental I've ever been to! The place was clean and well maintained (there were several lights burnt out in bedrooms and bathrooms - but nothing to complain about) The owner was very kind, and we even met the cleaning crew who was helpful and very friendly! I would absolutely stay here again, and definitely recommend others to stay too.
When the description says you will see wildlife, they are not kidding. Every morning and evening, we would see a minimum of 3 deer. Most of the time, they were right on the mowed/tall grass property line. The time of year we went, we were also lucky enough to see several baby deer with their mamas. One morning, a baby came and went through the play set in the backyard! We went to the 76 museum, and several lakes in the area, as well as a outdoor concert in downtown Deadwood. All very cool, fun things to do! We loved our stay.

Our family of 15 (three generations; 6 adults and 9 kids ages 5-16) met at Deadwood Barn Lodge in Sturgis for a six night stay. The Lodge was exceptionally clean and very spacious and the kids had a lot of room to play inside and outside. The location was perfect for us for our daytime sightseeing. We all especially loved the huge covered back deck with the fireplace and the stars at night were beautiful. The rental company staff was very responsive to any questions we had. We’d definitely recommend this Lodge and the rental company to others!

We gathered with family and spent 4 nights in this wonderful house. The home was equipped with everything we needed. Our group members included a wide range of ages. The main bathroom has a walk in shower which helpful for great Grandma. The fire pit was very nice. We all enjoyed the beautiful large deck on the main level and walk out deck on the lower level. The playset outside was great for kids.
We originally were looking for a rental a little closer to Hill City but overall very happy with the design and layout of this house for our group and glad we found this one.

This place had everything you could ever need for a vacation. Every room was equipped with extra blanket, sheets, and pillows. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly think of. They had a large selection of games for all age ranges. The location was perfect, close enough to town but far enough away that you could experience nature at its finest! My wedding party and I spent a weekend at here for my bachelorette party and let me tell you, it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is very spacious and has a comfortable home feeling to it. Super gorgeous house inside and outside. It was a super easy process renting from Black Hills Adventure Lodging.

Absolutely great! Perfect place for the family to relax and play. Be careful driving off road vehicles south on the gravel road. Was just taking my 2 and 4 year old for a relaxing ride, and got attacked by one of the residents. Apparently we were trust passing in a “private development”.
