ATV & UTV RIDING

The Black Hills National Forest offers an extensive network of designated motorized trails and forest roads through pine forests, rocky terrain, overlooks and backcountry areas.

Many of our Northern Black Hills vacation homes make a convenient home base for guests bringing their own ATV or UTV and spending their days exploring the trail system.

SNOWMOBILE LODGING

When the snow arrives, the Northern Black Hills become one of the region’s premier snowmobiling destinations.

The Black Hills snowmobile trail system includes hundreds of miles of groomed trails winding through the forest, with much of the riding concentrated throughout the Northern Hills near Lead and Deadwood.

Choose a private cabin or lodge where your group can come back after a day on the snow, warm up, make dinner and relax together before heading out again the next morning.
