Description

Dancing Pines is a spacious property with wonderful Black Hills views from the large deck. Within 1 mile to the lodge at Ski Mystic Deer Mountain you can be skiing and snowboarding on some wonderful terrain and only 0.4 miles from Highway 85 running to Lead/Deadwood/Sturgis and Cheyenne Crossing. 4 miles from the cabin, you can be cruising through Spearfish Canyon enjoying the wonderful waterfalls and canyon walls on your way to Spearfish. Within a 45 minute drive you can be in the central Hills enjoying Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more!

The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a hot tub on the backyard patio covered by the spacious deck. You'll get a garage for two vehicles, and parking for your trailers with your ATV's and snowmobiles.

Inside, you'll enjoy the wonderful wood craftsmanship giving you the cabin feeling of living in the Black Hills! The 4 bedrooms have two king beds, two queen beds, one full bed, and finally a twin bunk bed to sleep your group of 12. You'll also enjoy two gas fireplaces, a smaller pool table, poker table, and Direct TV after a long day enjoying the Black Hills!

Two families w five adults, two teenagers and one toddler had ample room. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations, although the basement bedrooms were cold if doors left closed at night. Very ample amount of towels, bedding, etc. Could sleep MANY more, if needed. Kitchen area great with everything we needed to prepare all meals. Top-notch gas grill on deck. Location was convenient to both Terry Peak skiing and snowmobiling venues. Up a relatively steep, but short hill, that could be difficult to reach in heavier snows. Spacious non-heated garage for two SUVs to park w ample space.

We enjoyed our stay at Dancing Pines. The cabin was great and fit our three families nicely. It had all of the amenities necessary. The deck on the back was great to enjoy our morning coffee and the weather in the hills that week was great for all of the actives (hiking, biking and side-by-sides) we had planned. The house was clean and warm on our arrival. Plenty of linins and blankets. All the kitchen you need and more. Some PM needed (light bulbs, oven door) but nothing that would cause a problem for a weeks stay. We used the outdoor gas grill, the hot tub and parked in the garage. All where great. It is an easy off the main highway location. Lead, SD is a very short drive to groceries and gas and adult beverages. We would stay again.

We rented this cabin primarily based on the photos of the views and the hot tub for a bath relaxing winter getaway. It did not disappoint! Although the cabin is in a small housing community, the neighbors are not noticeable at all. The hot tub was amazing. Everything inside the cabin was nice and new. Beds very comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

Dancing Pines is an amazing place. Location is prime for anything you want to do in the Black Hills. It's within minutes of skiing, snow mobile trails and rentals, UTV/ATV trails and rentals, and restaurants, shopping, etc. In Lead and Deadwood. It's only an hour drive down to the southern hills to visit Hill City, Mt. Rushmore, etc. While being close to all the fun activities, Dancing Pines is still secluded and very quiet. We will absolutely book it again.

My fiancé and I rented this cabin for our wedding weekend at Recreational Springs. It was perfect. The cabin was clean, with plenty of space for the bridesmaids the first night and us the second. The view was spectacular and surroundings were quiet. It was also very conveniently located to our venue. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend, and we were glad to have chosen Dancong Pines for our stay. The property manager was also very helpful and accommodating to get us in a little early in order to make it in time for our rehearsal.The whole experience was great.

Loved the house. It worked perfectly for our family.. Only one comment I would make. More comfortable furniture in the main living room. Something comfy like a small sectional or oversized chairs. Otherwise the experience was spectacular. Location was great and hot tub along with the set up of home was great. Loved the big kitchen.

We recently rented Dancing Pines for a weeks stay, during my daughter's wedding. It was a great setting and the house was clean, and well equipped with whatever we needed. The hot tub with the great views was a great way to unwind at the end of our busy prep days. The home is perfect for those that do not want steps as everything you would need is on a ground level. I would most definitely stay at Dancing Pines again.

Dancing Pines is a wonderful place to stay. The pictures of the property do not do justice to how beautiful the home is. The property was spotless, everything we needed for our stay was provided for us. We had three families, 9 people in all, and had more than enough room. The hot tub was relaxing after a day of off-roading and gambling in Deadwood. We had no issues and will plan on going back to Dancing Pines in the future. Thank you very much.

The home was perfect for our family vacation. The layout had plenty of space to all be together to play games and cook, and also space when someone wanted some time alone. It was clean and very comfortable, even with the subzero temperatures when we arrived. It was a great location to spend time in Deadwood, ski at Terry Peak and also visit Mt Rushmore. We had a wonderful time.

This cabin was everything we hoped it would be!! The cabin was immaculate, well stocked with essentials and had all the amenities for a cozy stay. Everything was exactly as promised & the Manager was so easy to work with. We were able to ski, snowmobile, have some delicious seafood and a little gambling (LOL)!! All of these were within a short distance and easy to find!! We will ABSOLUTELY recommend this property to our friends and family :)

We were very happy with our decision to stay at Dancing Pines, the accommodations were more than adequate for the six of us that stayed. The property was clean and provided all we needed for a fun and relaxing weekend.

Seven guys rode from Alberta, Canada to the Blackhills for some breathtaking riding. The Dancing Pines house was the perfect location for us. Close to everything - food, gas, bars, groceries, Deadwood, etc.

A group of us guys stayed at Dancing Pines January 24th-27, 2019 while in the Black Hills snowmobiling. We were more than pleased with the accommodations and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the region. We particularly enjoyed the ample space the home offered and the parking which can sometimes be a problem when pulling large trailers. The snow also didn't disappoint...We enjoyed the best snow our group can remember in many years!! We will be back!! Thanks again to Dancing Pines for making our trip a memorable one!!

Great place to stay while out riding 4wheelers with a group of guys. Plenty of parking space for our enclosed trailers. Cabin was very clean and peaceful.

We had searched for a handicap accessible home and finally found it! Our son is a paraplegic, he was able to get around the entire main level and the deck. The bathroom was very accessible. Only problem would be if you need to use a roll in shower chair, the shower is not big enough for that. Our son was able to use the flip down bench that was mounted in the shower. The beds were great with the exception of the rollaways. We all thought the living room furniture was uncomfortable and considering this is a handicap accessible home, I would suggest some more comfortable furniture as our son spent the entire time either on the bed or in his chair as the furniture was too hard. Some of the dishes were still dirty as if someone tried to use the dishwasher for pans and that doesn't always work the best. We also arrived just after they had 17" of snow and the driveway was not scooped but they provided a shovel. It would have been nice had that been taken care of as we had to scoop so we didn't have to walk thru it all. All in all our family of 10 had a great time and we would definitely choose to return here again.
