Dancing Pines is an amazing place. Location is prime for anything you want to do in the Black Hills. It's within minutes of skiing, snow mobile trails and rentals, UTV/ATV trails and rentals, and restaurants, shopping, etc. In Lead and Deadwood. It's only an hour drive down to the southern hills to visit Hill City, Mt. Rushmore, etc. While being close to all the fun activities, Dancing Pines is still secluded and very quiet. We will absolutely book it again.

We rented this cabin primarily based on the photos of the views and the hot tub for a bath relaxing winter getaway. It did not disappoint! Although the cabin is in a small housing community, the neighbors are not noticeable at all. The hot tub was amazing. Everything inside the cabin was nice and new. Beds very comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay !

We had a great time staying at Dancing Pines. the location is great-right in-between Trailshead and Terry Peak. The scenery is gorgeous and we were able to park 2 trailers.

The house was clean and warm on our arrival. Plenty of linins and blankets. All the kitchen you need and more. Some PM needed (light bulbs, oven door) but nothing that would cause a problem for a weeks stay. We used the outdoor gas grill, the hot tub and parked in the garage. All where great. It is an easy off the main highway location. Lead, SD is a very short drive to groceries and gas and adult beverages. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, view from the deck is great and it was clean. Only downside was on checkout. We were 7 minutes late and the cleaning lady barged into the house and started yelling at us.

We enjoyed our stay at Dancing Pines. The cabin was great and fit our three families nicely. It had all of the amenities necessary. The deck on the back was great to enjoy our morning coffee and the weather in the hills that week was great for all of the actives (hiking, biking and side-by-sides) we had planned. We would definitely stay again when in the area. Thank you!

Two families w five adults, two teenagers and one toddler had ample room. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations, although the basement bedrooms were cold if doors left closed at night. Very ample amount of towels, bedding, etc. Could sleep MANY more, if needed. Kitchen area great with everything we needed to prepare all meals. Top-notch gas grill on deck. Location was convenient to both Terry Peak skiing and snowmobiling venues. Up a relatively steep, but short hill, that could be difficult to reach in heavier snows. Spacious non-heated garage for two SUVs to park w ample space.

We had searched for a handicap accessible home and finally found it! Our son is a paraplegic, he was able to get around the entire main level and the deck. The bathroom was very accessible. Only problem would be if you need to use a roll in shower chair, the shower is not big enough for that. Our son was able to use the flip down bench that was mounted in the shower. The beds were great with the exception of the rollaways. We all thought the living room furniture was uncomfortable and considering this is a handicap accessible home, I would suggest some more comfortable furniture as our son spent the entire time either on the bed or in his chair as the furniture was too hard. Some of the dishes were still dirty as if someone tried to use the dishwasher for pans and that doesn't always work the best. We also arrived just after they had 17" of snow and the driveway was not scooped but they provided a shovel. It would have been nice had that been taken care of as we had to scoop so we didn't have to walk thru it all. All in all our family of 10 had a great time and we would definitely choose to return here again.

My fianc and I rented this cabin for our wedding weekend at Recreational Springs. It was perfect. The cabin was clean, with plenty of space for the bridesmaids the first night and us the second. The view was spectacular and surroundings were quiet. It was also very conveniently located to our venue. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend, and we were glad to have chosen Dancong Pines for our stay. The property manager was also very helpful and accommodating to get us in a little early in order to make it in time for our rehearsal.The whole experience was great.

Within a 45 minute drive you can be in the central Hills enjoying Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Needles Highway and more!
