Sitting higher in elevation, you'll love looking over the magnificent Black Hills as you sit in the hot tub on the covered deck! With easy proximity to the Terry Peak Ski Area as well as local ATV/snowmobile trails, hiking/biking, and many other fun activities, this cabin is perfect for all year-round fun. Located in the heart of the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor, you'll be hard pressed to not find a fun adventure to enjoy! The Stewart Lodge at Terry Peak is within minutes of the cabin, the Mickelson trail and many other ATV/Snowmobile trails are only 10 minutes away, and Spearfish Canyon with its great fishing/hiking/waterfalls is only a short 15 minute drive away. Downtown Deadwood is also just a short 15 minute drive or taxi ride away as well, full of places to gamble, dining options, and many festivals throughout the year! You can also be enjoying the beauty of Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and more in about an hours drive from the property. Whether you're in the area to enjoy an adventure filled vacation, relaxing weekend, or a sight-seeing tour of the area, Bucket List Retreat is sure to be a great place to rest your head and recharge.

After all your amazing adventures, coming home to this cabin will surely blow you away with a unique cabin experience. Outside you'll find an open lot as well as a double deck, with the lower level including a hot tub. There's also a pellet grill for preparing your favorite meals, and an indoor/outdoor wood fireplace. Inside you'll find an amazing open concept living space complete with a wood floor, large entry/mud room, a very cozy sectional sofa, fireplace, flat-screen TV, and an open 2-story living area filled with large windows to enjoy the view! The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island great for gathering around while preparing meals - you can even enjoy the view from the kitchen as well! Upstairs you'll love the additional living area as well as 3 of the 4 bedrooms - along with a covered deck with an incredible view. The bathrooms are spacious and inviting as well and one even includes a jacuzzi tub!

There's also plenty of space for your large trailers full of ATV's, motorcycles, or snowmobiles!

Our trip to the Black Hills was awesome! The cabin was beautiful. It was clean and very roomy. There were plenty of towels and linens available. It was nice to come back after a full ray of touring and have a glass of wine in the hot tub. The views from the porch are incredible.

We had a wonderful time at the Bucket List Retreat, the views are even more amazing than what is pictured. The weather was colder than we had hoped, so did not get to enjoy the beautiful decks, but did have to spend 1 day snowed in and enjoyed games and the hot tub while the snow came down, they have everything you would need to relax and enjoy just staying in. The only things I would suggest is some dry firewood, our guys chopped some wood and found kindling, and we bought some wood for fire place, it would be nice to have that there, and a few more wine glasses, we only found 2. It would also be nice to have a shovel so we could have cleaned off the decks and stairs better, we just used the broom as well as we could. But we loved it and would highly recommend it!! Just Beautiful!

We just stayed here for a week!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! For one the view is breath taking, the cabin is so clean and cozy!!! We absolutely loved it. I could write a book with how wonderful the owners are, very responsive to anything you ask or need. It’s just such a wonderful place. Everyone around the area were so sweet and friendly ❤️! Our family loved it so much we already booked our next year’s vacation with black Hills adventures lodging!!!!!❤️

Plenty of room for three families. Entry/mud room was great for the winter. Pellet grill was nicer than any other rental. Only wished we would have brought our own firewood so we did not have to buy any. Didn't notice is was a wood burner.

The house was great, there was plenty of room for the five of us over our three night stay. The view was beautiful! Easy access to Lead and Deadwood. There was a lot of snow, but the property and roads in were very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, but could use a few more glasses!

Loved everything about this upscale "cabin" retreat! Beautiful decor. High-end linens and bath towels. Comfortable beds. Fully-equipped kitchen. And a spectacular view to wake up to each morning. So glad that we worked directly with Black Hills Adventure Lodging. There was not enough snow for Terry Peak to operate so we spent lots of time at home. It was a great place. My only suggestion is to add window coverings for the front facing bedrooms for privacy and blocking the porch/Christmas lights from the cabins across the street. Would book again.

My wife and I go down to the Black Hills at least twice a year and stay with Black Hills Adventure Lodging and have always had a great stay! This cabin had great views, the hot tub was awesome and the cabin was amazing! Thanks again for another great experience!

We were three couples that never saw The Black Hills area. We enjoyed staying in this vacation rental. It was great to see Devils Tower and Spearfish Canyon before arrival. The next day we did Mt. Rushmore midday and then Deadwood and shopping in the evening. Deadwood is close to the place.
The home was great for us to relax in the hot tub, enjoy the night stars and a great kitchen for meals and fun conversation with friends.
The last day we cleaned up, left to go south and see Crazy Horse monument, then to Needles Highway with lunch at Sylvan Lake, so much fun. We finished the drive and did the Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park by 5:00PM and saw so many animals. Staying at the place is wonderful but being organized with driving and time we could see everything in the area, making lots of memories!
Some lighting didn’t work, nor lamps plugged in. Not all rooms had closets or dressers, but we adapted. Construction work next door the whole time. Still a
lovely stay! A great time.

We had a ski trip to Terry Peak and stayed at this cabin. It is well built with high quality finishes. The layout is great and the views are spectacular. There is some small maintenance items that should be completed. The fireplace is great with plenty of wood available! Overall one of the best layouts we have found and the views are unmatched.

The views were great! Cabin is really nice. It needs window coverings in the MBR and upstairs bedrooms facing the street. MBR could use a dresser or chest of drawers. Everything else was great!

Fantastic views! Very Comfortable beds, nice linens, great MB shower. The Hot tub was awesome. No Hairdryer - we purchased one and donated it the home.

The Kitchen is very nice with a great island and premium gas stove/oven. Pans and utensils were a bit lacking - plenty of knives however. We purchased a decent spatula and a Martini shaker(donated.) The space around the island was a bit crowded with 4 stools with backs. I think swivel stools without backs would alleviate that.

Floor was a bit dirty when we arrived - we intended to clean it up, but the vacuum was kind of worthless and there was no Swiffer's or dust mop to clean the floor with.

There were no dressers to use in the bedrooms so we had to live out of our suitcases during our stay. Also no curtains or blinds in the bedrooms. Other than these minor inconveniences, our stay was wonderful.

We enjoyed using the real wood fire place. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, which made it nice and cozy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely do it again.

Everything about this house was great from the cleanliness, the view, the hot tub, to the stocked items in the kitchen. We stayed here 3 nights and did day trips to the Badlands, Mt Rushmore and did some Ziplinning in Keystone. Rental company was great to work with and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Vacation home worked out great for our annual ski trip. Location was great and easy to access. Very clean and well maintained. Only issue was there are no blinds in the house including the bedrooms. No sleeping in after a long night in deadwood and have to change in the bathroom unless you want to give the neighbors a show. Overall a good stay.

Our stay in the Bucket List cabin was wonderful. The cabin is beautiful with large windows looking out to the Black Hills scenery. Breath taking views!
Minutes away from Terry Peak, our kids enjoyed a day of skiing.
This is a cabin we definitely would rent again!!!

When we arrived on site, we knew right away that we were going to have an incredible experience. The Bucket List was better than we expected. It is very well maintained and was perfect for the 12 of us. I would highly recommend the Bucket List to anyone that wants to have a fun place to have a get a way.

The home is lovely with big windows overlooking the misty mountains. It is located in a community near the Lead ski slopes. The house is so new that there is a fair amount of mud when it rains. The decor is a tasteful and relaxing blend of grays and browns. The hot tub would easily accommodate 4 adults and overlooked the mountains. The house is near beautiful Spearfish Canyon with waterfalls and hiking trails. And there is an interesting tour of the Lead gold mine. Our favorite restaurant was at Cheyenne Crossing and advertised itself as the Home of the Indian Taco! But the property is a little out of the way for getting to Custer and the Badlands. We thought that spending the night in several Black Hills settings (including this one) might have kept us from driving so much. We stayed in this property for the whole week, and branched out from there -- doable but a little more driving than we wanted. The owner/manager was readily accessible by email, but the youtube video recommended for the pellet smoker was not the same model. We did eventually figure it out, and our salmon and tofu turned out perfectly.

I believe we were the first guests to ever stay in this house. We were actually a little nervous since there were no reviews online when we booked it. The house was beautiful. The owner seemed like a nice reasonable person. The view was beautiful. Everything in the house worked perfectly. Very tastefully decorated. Just a great overall experience. Highly recommended.

They were super helpful and accommodating through the whole process. The property was amazing and we'd recommend to everyone. The view was spectacular and we would definitely come back again!

Our experience was amazing. Nestled back in the Black Hills the view was breath taking and the cabin was equally beautiful. The only thing more beautiful than the view were the stars in the night sky as we relaxed in the hot tub. Coming from the city you fail to realize how city lights effect the number of stars you can see in the sky. This cabin, in it’s secluded area, gives you views of both the landscape and the heavens. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone who wants to experience the scenery in highly comfortable and luxurious accommodations! My friends and I will be back.

The property manager was quick to respond to questions. We spent more time in Custer area and the drive was over an hour. If you want to vacation in spearfish canyon or Lead area, the location is great. Bring camp chairs with you for the back deck. Overall a great cabin,
