Clean spacious updated rental. Everything inside and out is perfectly positioned to focus you attention on the fabulous views. Our family of four loved the space we added three extra days to make this our home base a little longer while exploring out west! The property manager is helpful, quick to respond, and really wanted us to enjoy our vacation. We would definitely stay here again when traveling out this way. My husband loved the inside outside fireplace and beyond the vibe of the place the kids really loved the hot tub.

This was a family ski trip. The house was clean and good location from the ski lifts. We used the Pit Boss one day, it worked well, the next day, it smoked alot and would not get hot. We believe it was plugged with wet pellets but not for sure. But it does need to be looked at before someone else tries to use it. Everything else about the cabin was great!

We enjoyed our stay, always have a great time in Lead/Deadwood. Only complaints we had about the rental is the grill did not work & the air did not keep up well so it was rather hot inside, especially when it was 105* outside.
All in all, it was a good stay!

We walked into a beautiful but not very well cared for home. Our trip to the Black Hills was awesome! The cabin was beautiful. It was clean and very roomy. There were plenty of towels and linens available. It was nice to come back after a full ray of touring and have a glass of wine in the hot tub. The views from the porch are incredible.

Plenty of room for three families. Entry/mud room was great for the winter. Pellet grill was nicer than any other rental. Only wished we would have brought our own firewood so we did not have to buy any. Didn't notice is was a wood burner.

The house was great, there was plenty of room for the five of us over our three night stay. The view was beautiful! Easy access to Lead and Deadwood. There was a lot of snow, but the property and roads in were very well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked, but could use a few more glasses!

We just stayed here for a week!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! For one the view is breath taking, the cabin is so clean and cozy!!! We absolutely loved it. I could write a book with how wonderful the owners are, very responsive to anything you ask or need. It’s just such a wonderful place. Everyone around the area were so sweet and friendly ❤️! Our family loved it so much we already booked our next year’s vacation with black Hills adventures lodging!!!!!❤️

We had a wonderful time at the Bucket List Retreat, the views are even more amazing than what is pictured. Everything about this house was great from the cleanliness, the view, the hot tub, to the stocked items in the kitchen. We stayed here 3 nights and did day trips to the Badlands, Mt Rushmore and did some Ziplinning in Keystone. Rental company was great to work with and responded quickly. When we arrived on site, we knew right away that we were going to have an incredible experience. The Bucket List was better than we expected. It is very well maintained and was perfect for the 12 of us. I would highly recommend the Bucket List to anyone that wants to have a fun place to have a get a way.

The home is lovely with big windows overlooking the misty mountains. It is located in a community near the Lead ski slopes. The house is so new that there is a fair amount of mud when it rains. The decor is a tasteful and relaxing blend of grays and browns. The hot tub would easily accommodate 4 adults and overlooked the mountains. The house is near beautiful Spearfish Canyon with waterfalls and hiking trails. And there is an interesting tour of the Lead gold mine. Our favorite restaurant was at Cheyenne Crossing and advertised itself as the Home of the Indian Taco! But the property is a little out of the way for getting to Custer and the Badlands. We thought that spending the night in several Black Hills settings (including this one) might have kept us from driving so much. We stayed in this property for the whole week, and branched out from there -- doable but a little more driving than we wanted. The owner/manager was readily accessible by email, but the youtube video recommended for the pellet smoker was not the same model. We did eventually figure it out, and our salmon and tofu turned out perfectly.

Vacation home worked out great for our annual ski trip. Location was great and easy to access. Very clean and well maintained. Only issue was there are no blinds in the house including the bedrooms. No sleeping in after a long night in deadwood and have to change in the bathroom unless you want to give the neighbors a show. Overall a good stay.

There was not enough snow for Terry Peak to operate so we spent lots of time at home. It was a great place. My only suggestion is to add window coverings for the front facing bedrooms for privacy and blocking the porch/Christmas lights from the cabins across the street. Would book again.

Fantastic views! Very Comfortable beds, nice linens, great MB shower. The Hot tub was awesome. No Hairdryer - we purchased one and donated it the home.

The Kitchen is very nice with a great island and premium gas stove/oven. Pans and utensils were a bit lacking - plenty of knives however. We purchased a decent spatula and a Martini shaker(donated.) The space around the island was a bit crowded with 4 stools with backs. I think swivel stools without backs would alleviate that.

Floor was a bit dirty when we arrived - we intended to clean it up, but the vacuum was kind of worthless and there was no Swiffer's or dust mop to clean the floor with.

There were no dressers to use in the bedrooms so we had to live out of our suitcases during our stay. Also no curtains or blinds in the bedrooms. Other than these minor inconveniences, our stay was wonderful.

We enjoyed using the real wood fire place. There were plenty of pillows and blankets, which made it nice and cozy. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely do it again.

The home was great for us to relax in the hot tub, enjoy the night stars and a great kitchen for meals and fun conversation with friends.
The last day we cleaned up, left to go south and see Crazy Horse monument, then to Needles Highway with lunch at Sylvan Lake, so much fun. We finished the drive and did the Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park by 5:00PM and saw so many animals. Staying at the place is wonderful but being organized with driving and time we could see everything in the area, making lots of memories!
Some lighting didn’t work, nor lamps plugged in. Not all rooms had closets or dressers, but we adapted. Construction work next door the whole time. Still a
lovely stay! A great time.

We had booked the Bucket List Retreat all the way back in Dec 2019. When Covid 19 hit things got sketchy and we almost were afraid we wouldn't be able to go. They were super helpful and accommodating through the whole process. The property was amazing and we'd recommend to everyone. The view was spectacular and we would definitely come back again!

The house was spotless when we got there. The atmosphere is wonderful. Our family of 10 adults was extremely comfortable.

Our experience was amazing. Nestled back in the Black Hills the view was breath taking and the cabin was equally beautiful. The only thing more beautiful than the view were the stars in the night sky as we relaxed in the hot tub. Coming from the city you fail to realize how city lights effect the number of stars you can see in the sky. This cabin, in it’s secluded area, gives you views of both the landscape and the heavens. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone who wants to experience the scenery in highly comfortable and luxurious accommodations! My friends and I will be back.

I believe we were the first guests to ever stay in this house. We were actually a little nervous since there were no reviews online when we booked it. The house was beautiful. The owner seemed like a nice reasonable person. The view was beautiful. Everything in the house worked perfectly. Very tastefully decorated. Just a great overall experience. Highly recommended.
