It's also within minutes to Spearfish Canyon with it's rim-rock canyon walls, caves, waterfalls, great hikes, and amazing fishing! Deadwood is also just a short drive away with its unique restaurants, local gambling options, and fantastic festivals all year long. You won't have any problem finding fun things to do in the area while staying at Willie's Hideaway. You can even take the beautiful one hour drive through the hills to visit Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake and more! Whether you're in the area to enjoy a relaxing getaway, or an adventure-filled vacation, Willie's Hideaway is a perfect place to kick your feet up at the end of the day.

After your local explorations, coming back to the cabin is sure to be one of the best parts of your trip. The two stall garage can hold your ATV/Snowmobile's or vehicles while the longer driveway is great for trailers. Inside you'll find an updated open-concept interior with the living-kitchen-dining area seamlessly coming together and great for entertaining. The rock fireplace set's the stage for a cozy warm night in and flat-screen TV in the living area. The wrap-around kitchen is open with an island, great for preparing meals and enjoying everyone's company. The living area leads onto the deck with a great view and a gas grill. The lower level also has TV to gather around and enjoy some time with your family and friends as well as a foosball table and work out station. The lower living area leads out onto the patio complete with a hot tub with a view of the stars! You'll love spending time at the cabin with all these amenities after your days on the trails. The place was nice. It was roomy. I really liked the use of the garage. However the first thing I did when I got there was sweep the garage.The location was great. It was our annual sibling trip where we choose a different destination each year. We all really enjoyed it. We Saw a lot of site and attractions during our stay. I would recommend this home to those who are looking for a nice stay. A couple of the feet on the fooseball table are broken rendering it useless. I felt the BBQ grill should have a cover. I had to clean it quite a bit before I could use it. Otherwise, a nice place with ample parking.

Lots of space for our family to relax, eat, play games inside and out, and plenty of comfortable beds with a large downstairs with extra couches and room for kids on the floor. Kitchen was great, lots of dishes and silverware, plenty of seating, and the 2 fridges (1 in garage) were perfect. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing the muscles after a day of hiking.

There were just a couple issues we had, nothing huge, just annoying. The hot water seemed to have issues, maybe for upstairs shower only, but a few times the first shower in the morning only had 5 minutes of hot water and multiple other people taking showers had a similar experience. The other thing was the foosball table had a couple broken guys, can't really advertise you have a foosball table if you can't play a legit game with it.

But all-in-all it was a great place to stay!

This cabin has a great kitchen, a great deck that overlooks the mountains, and very comfortable rooms. We saw deer and wild turkey most days. At an elevation of over 6000 feet, most mornings were in the 50's and highs were around 75 to 83 degrees. The town of Deadwood is only 10 minute drive away.

Willie's Hideaway was perfect for our family of 6. We could walk up 2 steps from the garage to the main floor. The furniture is very nice and my bed had lovely soft linens and was so comfortable!

Budi with Black Hills Adventure Lodging was so kind. He helped me locate our cabin that was within walking distance to the one my aunt rented.

We had a Fitzgerald Clan Reunion over our 5 day stay. About 50 people from all over the country gathered for a Celebration of Life for my uncle, Jim.

No matter where he lived, Jim always considered South Dakota his home. We were best buddies for more than 50 years and attended Kool Deadwood Nites together many times.

His final wish was for his ashes to be scattered in the Black Hills and we were there to fulfill his request.

One of my Lakota cousins led us on "A Journey to the Spirit Land" for uncle Jim and each of us were given a Dream Catcher as a gift. In my haste to pack up and be out by 10 on our last morning, mine was left on the knob of a closet door. I emailed Budi and he went and got it and mailed it to me!

I couldn't be more delighted with my stay at Willie's Hideaway.

We traveled to the area in early June to ride Harleys and SxS. There was plenty of room in the house since it was only two adult couples. Every part of the house was very clean and comfortable. There is not as much room to park trucks and trailers as depicted in the winter pictures shown, but we managed to get two full sized trucks with enclosed trailers backed in. The use of the garage was terrific to keep the bikes and SxS in each day. Though other homes are close by, the property was quiet.

We had a great extended weekend up on the black hills. The property was very clean, spacious, and perfect for a large group. My only suggestion for improvement would be a new coffee pot as the one there took almost an hour to brew a pot.

All around great place! We stayed 5 nights and had 4 adults and 4 children. Each kid had their own queen bed and had the entire basement to themselves which is wonderful for parents on vacation. The kitchen had plenty of space, pans, dishes etc. It is a beautiful place with a nice fireplace and big garage. Wonderful communication from Budi. Will definitely be back!

Willie’s Hideaway worked great for the four couples and our UTV’s. There was enough room for our trucks and trailers to park. Great location and easy access to the UTV trails. Only hiccup was the downstairs bathroom sink was not working so that was a small inconvenience.

Older house, newly renovated. House provided 2 separate living arrangements, 2 bedrooms upstairs (1 KING size bed each) and 2 downstairs (2 queens each). Each had their own family rooms. Upstairs had the kitchen with a nice open floor plan. 10 Minutes from Terry Peak. comfortably sleeps 12 depending on your arrangements. Wi-fi service was good. Hot tub was clean. Only one small negative comment, I really enjoy a secluded cabin, the pictures provided suggest that.., but you have several neighbors close by.

Willies Hideaway was amazing. The pictures online do not do this place justice. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Easy to get to, and great location to area attractions. We will definitely stay again for our ski trip.

We were more than pleased with our experience at the property to say the least... the condition was immaculate, the amenities outstanding. Mr. Kusser and his staff have gone all out to make a group comfortable here. Close enough to everything we wanted to do on our UTVs... HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone !!!

This cabin was very clean. We had two families of 6 and the size was great. The drive to keystone area was about an hour drive. Deadwood was probably closer to 15 mins.

Second stay at this property.... Beautiful area, house is absolutely beautiful, set up so perfectly. Mr. Kusser has a beautiful property and I believe he has the guests best stay experience available and great communication. Will be back again !,,
