It's perfectly located just 5 miles from Deadwood, and 10 miles from Sturgis, so you'll have a great location to come home to after exploring the wonderful Black Hills on your next vacation. With easy access to skiing, ATV and snowmobile trails, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Spearfish Canyon, and the highway to Mount Rushmore/Keystone/Custer and Hill City, Sweet Retreat is sure to be your next favorite home away from home.

With over 4900 sq. ft of space and 910 sq. ft of deck space, there's plenty of room for your larger group of up to 24 people. There aren't many places in the area with that kind of space, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the finer things. It's an open concept with the living area and dining area, so you'll love the ability to prepare meals and enjoy your company. There are 6 bedrooms, 5 full baths and 2 half baths in the home. You'll also love the bar/game room in the property with Foosball, Xbox one console with multiple games, exercise room, and 2 stall HEATED garage - which now has an Air Hockey Table!! If you're wanting to stay connected, you'll enjoy the satellite TV and WIFI available at the property as well. There's a walk out deck in the back of the cabin with a private deck area with a hot tub! You'll often see wildlife roaming through the forest! Bedroom/Bed Configuration:

Upstairs - two rooms, each with 1 Queen and 2 Twin Beds in each room (6 total beds)
Main Floor - King Bed in Master
Downstairs - 3 total bunk beds (2 of them have a full on the bottom)
Above Garage - two rooms, one room has a Queen bed and twin, the other room has a Queen bed and full. (4 beds total)

**Property does have external security cameras that cover the front and back of the property.

This house is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood with access to beautiful sights and walks. It’s beautifully decorated and furnished. I have rented it several times and would be happy to return.

My parents and siblings and families all met up here from 4 different states to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary. It was the perfect place. Clean, beautiful, spacious and close to lots of fun things for us to do!

We had a party of 17 people and this place was perfect! Everyone had a bed and there was plenty of space for us all to spread out and hang out. We cooked all our meals and had what we needed to do so. The location was fantastic! We didn’t feel like we were too far from everything. The house was very clean as well. Whenever I needed to reach out to the home owner, they were very prompt and helpful. We all said we would recommend this place and/or stay here again. Thank you, Budi!

The layout of this house is perfect for a large group. We had adults, teenagers and youth and there was a spot for all. Nature walks in the woods out back was a good pastime. Just a skip to Deadwood and a hop to Sturgis. The house was clean. A little short on supplies like dishsoap and laundry. Really a great stay. Thank you.

This house fit the needs of our family get together. We had 15 people in our group who found plenty of sleeping space and plenty of bathrooms. Other relatives and friends came to celebrate our 51st anniversary and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and many amenities provided especially in the kitchen. We would love to return again. Thank you to all involved.

The location, price, and overall finishings & amenities of the house were great. We would have preferred an earlier check-in when we asked to be accommodated, but that's nit picking. The house could also use a body soap replenishing. But overall, we loved our time in the Black Hills.

We had an excellent time spent at this cabin. Great location, not too far away for fishing, side by side rentals and trails. Loved the design of this house. The layout of the bedrooms gave them a lot of privacy, especially the ones over the garage made it feel like you were staying in a separate house. Kitchen had all the amenities that you needed. It took us a while to get used to the grill, the flames were pretty powerful. One thing I'd hope the owners address is to put up some blinds on the bedroom windows. The existing window coverings don't block the sunrise out much, which is an issue if you like to sleep in. But otherwise a beautiful place that we'd highly recommend and would love to come back to.

It was an enjoyable time being with our whole immediate family.

The kids all had a great time doing fun things around the Hills...like riding ATV's, riding horses and a lot of hiking. The view was great as was the weather and the food we brought in.

The home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. You couldn’t ask for a better location. Many places to see and do (Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Needle Hwy) within an hour or less drive.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, large roaster, pots and pans, etc.
We had a group of 13 adults and never felt like we were stumbling over one another.
We brought lawn chairs and was glad we did. Plenty of chairs on the deck but we played bags in the garage and driveway so lawn chairs came in handy.
If you like to sleep in, bring a sleep mask because the bedrooms only have sheer curtains. That would be our only complaint. Otherwise we loved everything about our stay!!

The house has an excellent floor plan that allows people to separate and have some space to themselves as well as the ability to group. It was stocked well with cooking supplies and dishware. Cleaning at the end is painless and it is located close to many Black Hills attractions.

My family and I had an enjoyable stay at Baneberry Retreat . We had 13 adults and 6 children aged 1 to 7. The location was wonderful for daytrips to Mt. Rushmore ,Crazy Horse and ATV-ing just south of Deadwood. We were impressed with the cleanliness throughout and the functionality of the kitchen. The house is spacious and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed time spent on the deck and in the Hot-Tub also. A great escape from all traffic and noise. You really can relax here.Black Hills Adventure Lodging folk were pleasant to work with. If you are looking for a home to accomodate a large group while still maintaining some individual privacy this is a great place.The area surrounding the home provided some great backdrops for family pictures. We had a very enjoyable time.

Love, Love, Love the house. Only thing missing would be add some deck chairs. It was a nice weather weekend but nothing to use out on the beautiful deck. Definitely would use this property again.

The only thing we had an issue with was we couldn’t control our heat/air. It got quite warm and then super freezing. Other than that we all had a great time!

Sweet Retreat was the perfect place to celebrate my sister's upcoming nuptials. Sixteen of her friends and families traveled to South Dakota to indulge her love for America and this house provided the perfect home base for us to cook, celebrate, and spend time together. The house was well-stocked with amenities and perfectly set up for our group. Budi was communicative and available when I had questions. I can't recommend Sweet Retread (and South Dakota overall!) highly enough.

The home was spacious and for our large family we enjoyed the choice of hanging out on the back deck or out in front where the kids could run and play. We also liked that there bedrooms were spread out around the house.
