Welcome to your new favorite home-away-from-home, Rustic Hideaway! This wonderfully updated cabin is located in the heart of the northern Black Hills recreational corridor, just down the road from Deer Mountain/Ski Mystic Miner, minutes away from Terry Peak, and less than a mile away from Recreational Springs where you can jump on the local ATV/snowmobile trails and ride to your hearts desire! There's also a large amount of room to park trailers, so bring your toys and enjoy some trail riding!! Spearfish Canyon, with it's amazing rim-rock canyon walls, mountain stream with great fishing, waterfalls, and hiking is just a short 5 minutes away from the cabin as well! Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Hill City, Sylvan Lake, and Custer State Park are all less than 1 hour away from the cabin as well. Whether you're traveling to the area to enjoy an adventure filled vacation, or a relaxing time soaking up forest views and local wildlife, Rustic Hideaway is a perfect cabin to settle in for a nice vacation.

After exploring and taking in the sites each day, you'll love coming home to the peaceful sounds, amazing starry skies from the hot tub, and local wildlife viewing right on the property. There's even a small pond on the beautifully tree'd property! The deck is partially covered with seating for a nice dinner outside or grilling a great meal - there's also a fire pit table. Inside you'll enjoy a segmented area with a formal dining area leading into a kitchen and living area great for entertaining and enjoying your company. There's also a beautiful living area filled with log pine wood accented walls, a large flat-screen TV, pellet stove to kick your feet up next to and a mini bar perfect for making up for your favorite drink. You can walk right out onto the deck from this beautiful room as well, which works well for grilling and enjoying your company from the wood accented living area. There's also an open loft accessed through this living area and includes 2 twin beds. Our family had a fantastic stay at....... The
property was as pictured, beautiful home,
great location, plenty of amenities, and
plenty of room for the whole family to have
space. The loft was great for the kids and
bedrooms for the adults were comfortable.
We cooked all our meals at the property,
did laundry, enjoyed playing board games,
watched movies in the family room, using the hot tub, and riding snowmobile.
Great for our family Christmas and a short
drive to a Church in the area. Great getaway
and look forward to going back in the winter
or in the summer as we ride snowmobile
and UTV and are close to the trails. Thanks
the staff, they were available for questions
and very helpful. Thanks!

We would HIGHLY recommend the Rustic Hideaway! Our large family of 6 adults & 4 children thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, beautiful property. It was well-stocked with everything thing we needed and Budi was just a text or call away if we needed anything. The hottub and the deck was everyone's favorite. We loved watching the deer cross in the back by the pond every night. The location was perfect! Close to trails as well within driving distance of several tourists spots that the Black Hills has to offer. As my 6 year old granddaughter said,"We could live here forever!!"

The house was exactly as described. Very clean. Loved the tv room with the couch/recliners. Very comfortable. Only downfall was that it did not have air conditioning. But I didn't look for that in the description so my fault. It was about 80 degrees in the house during the late afternoons but thankfully, it cools off in the evening and so we left windows open at night and closed them during the day. While the windows offer natural light, it also heats up the house. The only thing that could have improved this was having blinds/curtains on the large windows to block out the heat of the day. Loved the hot tub. Used it daily. Kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck every night, watched the deer in the backyard. Plenty of deck chairs for everyone. No stairs into house so that is a plus for older people. Great location, close to ATV trails. Would rent again as it fit our family needs great.

This property is centrally located. Close to food, shopping, trails, etc. Property mgmt company was very responsive when the propane tank was empty.

Beautiful house that was very clean with all the amenities you could want. We especially enjoyed the pond and all the wildlife that visited in the morning and evening. We were out of propane for the grill and Budi had it to us within a half hour! We loved the house and can’t wait to come back again!

We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location and all the wildlife that came to visit. But when we arrived, no power due to previous day storms. If we had known, we would have made other arrangements for that night. Master bath tub drained very slow, had to wash towels so we had dish towels to wash dishes. Grass and weeds were almost knee high, hard for a toddler to walk thru. But overall we enjoyed our stay at Rustic Hideaway!

This is a very nice rental! It is exactly as shown in the photos! Save yourself some money and book it directly through . VRBO charges a service fee to book through another booking company.

This was a wonderful cabin! And fit everyone perfectly. Loved how it was easy to find and tucked in just enough you didn't see any neighbors! 10 outta 10 for me! Would stay here again! Super clean too! Wildlife wasn't even bothered by us. Came up right behind the house while us girls were sitting in the hot tub!

We rented Rustic Hideaway for a 4 day weekend of skiing Terry Peak (our family of 5 and my in-laws). It worked perfectly for our group with some room to spare - would say “sleeps 12” comfortably may be a stretch though. Very clean and nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked. Pictures really don’t do justice to the deck, private backyard, and outdoor hot tub! Has a big attached double garage which was a nice bonus since everything was pretty muddy with Spring melt. It was a group consensus we’ll be staying again!

We went with a group of friends and it was perfect! The hottub was an added bonus for sure, but was the perfect space for entertaining, getting to trails to ride, and even got the taxi to pick us up to go to Deadwood! Perfect getaway home!

What an awesome home! Decorated fabulously! Great kitchen and a master bedroom with a California king size bed that you almost need a ladder to get into! Turkeys and deer abound in the yard! A FABULOUS hot tub! The perfect location to visit Deadwood, Sturgis and Mt Rushmore! Thanks to the owners for sharing their great home!!!
