Welcome to your new favorite Black Hills vacation home here at Lookout Lodge! This brand new 3,400 sq. ft. custom-built lodge is a 6-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom amazing property with has breathtaking westerly views of the Black Hills and of Terry Peak! Whether it's you and your friends visiting, a corporate retreat, or a family reunion, this custom-built property has been completely designed from the ground up to give you enough space to spread out and enjoy your Black Hills vacation!

The lodge is located in the Terry Peak subdivision, just a mile from the Terry Peak ski area with it's amazing local skiing/snowboarding and summer events like archery tournaments and more! It's in the heart of the northern Hills recreational corridor, where you can enjoy ATV/snowmobile trails just minutes from the property, great hiking and waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon just 15 minutes away, enjoying a local concert or some gambling in Deadwood just 15 minutes away, or a scenic 1 hour drive down to places like Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, Black Elk Peak, Sylvan Lake, and more!

Lookout Lodge is a 3-level cabin with plenty of space on each level for your group to enjoy. As you enter the lodge on the main level, you'll be greeted with a large open living and dining room with large windows to enjoy that beautiful view! It seamless leads into the well-stocked kitchen area with a large island great for entertaining and cooking great meals with your friends and family. There's a dining table with seating for 10, and the kitchen island has 4 more chairs, with comfortable seating for 14. There's a gas fireplace for those nights you want to kick your feet up and enjoy a movie, and a large flat-screen TV connected to internet apps. From the dining room there's a walk-out to the large deck to take in the fresh air and views!

The loft includes a nice seating area with great views out of the living area windows as well! There's 2 bedrooms on the upper level, along with an upper-level walk-out deck so you can take in the view with your morning coffee! You're sure to love this unique and private deck area. The lower level includes 3 more bedrooms, along with a living area complete with a fireplace, TV, and foosball table! From the lower level living area, there's a walk out patio to where you can enjoy the view, or sit under the stars from the hot tub!

There's also parking available around the property for trucks/trailers for those wanting to bring your snowmobiles, ATV/UTVs to enjoy everything the Black Hills has to offer.

This is a beautiful house in a great location. We enjoyed being in the woods but only a few minutes away from amenities in Lead and Deadwood. We stayed in the summer and enjoyed a number of local attractions, and we were lucky enough to have a pack of wild turkeys nesting in the trees outside our windows almost every night! Hot tub is great, and the kids (and adults) really enjoyed the foosball table. I definitely recommend staying here!

The place was amazing and beautiful. We had lots of space to spread out but the open layout kept us all together as a family too. My parents and two siblings' families had plenty of space and privacy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub was a great bonus. Boys enjoyed the huge tv and foosball. Dining table was great for card playing. Balcony was lovely in the morning.

I know we had a back to back rental but we found a couple of towels that were wet in a drawers or cabinets. Dry towels were in the dryer we found but weren't aware of them on arrival. Nothing big but made us aware of other people. Height of bed on the main floor was nearly a problem for my elderly parents -- we put them on that floor so they didn't have to do the stairs so much but then the bed was nearly an impediment. Again, totally not a big deal, just something that came up for us.

Getting in an out on rutted roads might have been the biggest drawback to the place.

This was a great space for our party. Has a pretty view and was quiet. Furnishings clean and in great shape. Open floor plan with a big table. We liked the location, explored Mt Rushmore, Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, Wildlife loop, Custer. All within driving distance. Easy check in. Everything as described and pictured. Highly recommend.
