Welcome to your home-away-from-home here at Gold Creek Lodge! This custom mining-themed cabin is nestled in the ponderosa pines in the highly popular Powder House Pass area. Located in a perfect location centrally located within the recreational corridor of the Northern Black Hills, you'll enjoy the convenience of having Snowmobile Trail #5 and the Mickelson trail adjacent to the neighborhood. Are you traveling to the Black Hills to see the sites? Spearfish Canyon is only a 5 minute drive from the cabin where you can enjoy waterfalls, rock climbing, fishing and hiking in the rim-rock canyon walls of the canyon. Terry Peak can be accessed in a short 5-10 minute drive for some skiing adventures, and you can be in Deadwood in as little as 10 minutes enjoying the nightlife and festivals that frequent the area. Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park and more are only a 45 minute drive from the property as well! Walk out your door and snowmobile, hike, ATV or bike without having to hook up a trailer and find a trailhead. Whether you're visiting for a relaxing getaway or an adventure filled vacation, Gold Creek Lodge is sure to please!

After enjoying your adventure filled days on your vacation, you'll love coming home to enjoy the wildlife and endless starry nights from the large deck or hot tub. Inside, you'll love the comfort designed theme and furniture with 3 king suites. The main level has a large open concept with a grand entry, large windows filling the cabin with natural light and great views of the surrounding forest, and cathedral ceilings. You'll find quality rustic finishes throughout the cabin with wooden timber accents, rock and metal accents, and a large fireplace in the main living area. There's 5 total bedrooms, all 5 of them with King beds, 2 of the bedrooms each have 4 twin beds as bunk beds (4 total bunk beds), and there's a sofa sleeper in the lower level family room as well! The open kitchen leads right into the living area, perfect for gathering and creating the wonderful memories with your family and friends. Make your next vacation to the Black Hills a memorable one! Our family had an amazing time in our vacation rental. It was a beautiful home, was very spacious and accommodated all 15 of us, 8 adults 7 kids (ages 6-15). Lots of room for sleeping or getting away for some quiet time! It was within walking distance to the clubhouse where the kids could go swimming in the heated pool! The sauna, arcade game and hot tub were big hits by all! Kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and contained some items such as coffee, salt, pepper, coffee filters etc. Only thing we would’ve preferred was some bigger pots, when cooking pasta for 15 people the small pots that were there weren’t really adequate! The back deck was amazing for morning coffee or sitting around the fire table in the evening! Lots to see and do in the area and very accessible! Budi was very easy to deal with and always replied to my emails, everything went amazingly! Would highly recommend! Was a wonderful family vacation!

This beautiful cabin was set in a great location. Loved Community Building with pool. Short drive to Lead/ Deadwood. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies. I liked that the kitchen had basic ingredients like salt and pepper at cabin. Great areas for kids to play while adults visit.

We loved staying here. Lots of room for our whole extended family. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook, plenty of towels for the hottub, and close to Lead & Deadwood. We enjoyed the fireplace on the deck and the cornhole games in the garage. The Clubhouse pool & games are an added bonus although a bigger pool would be nice for teenagers. My family also loved the soft luxurious blankets in EVERY room. Very convenient for each room to also have its own bathroom with shower. The kids loved the bunkbeds and skywalk hallway. Would highly recommend!

Our whole group loved this house and area! We had so much space for the adults to hang out and kids separate! The hot tub was so big and kids loved the arcade game! Sitting in the deck was so relaxing and seen two deer in the mornings! Highly recommend!

Impressed from the pictures on your website. All the amenities, spacious floor plan, convenience to recreational areas and homey comfort. Lacking was the reassurance that the front door locking system had been taken care of (we were never informed) and the upstairs toilet issue not being taken care of. Enjoyed our family time together. Would consider coming back.

There's no issue with the front door deadbolt lock, it looks like there wasn't enough time given between each attempt on the door pad to unlock the deadbolt. We got to the cabin and we were all amazed at how big it was. The cabin was clean and very nice. It was nice to have a few items for the kids to play with. There was still a Christmas tree up but it worked for us as this getaway was a christmas gift. The hot tub was awesome as well. The only issue we had was a toilet that would not flush.

Beautiful new home with lots of rooms and beds. We had issues with the upstairs toilet not flushing but it sounded like the manager was aware of this ongoing issue. Very clean and lots of extra towels and bedding. Very close to skiing at Terry Peak. We had a great time with family and would recommend this property for any large group!

Gold Creek is like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow! This cabin has so much to offer...our group just loved it! I have to give a big shout out to Buddi, our property manager. The day we were headed to the Black Hills we were informed there was a problem with the cabin we had rented. Buddi offered us the use of another that was a definite upgrade then the one we had originally booked and our family loved it!! The location was perfect for ATV trail riding and the cabin itself was beautiful!! Our family will defiantly be looking to see if it’s available for future visits!
