From pre-arrival grocery stocking and premium baby gear to gourmet welcome treats, celebration décor and fireside s’mores, our Stay Enhancements are designed to make settling in effortless and your time in the Black Hills even more special.
Advance reservations are required for most enhancements, and availability may be limited. We recommend making requests as early as possible prior to your arrival.
PRE-ARRIVAL GROCERY STOCKING - $200
Skip the grocery run and arrive to a kitchen already stocked for your stay. Simply place and pay for your grocery pickup order online, designate a member of our team as the pickup person, and we’ll take care of the rest - picking up your order in Spearfish, transporting it to your vacation home, and putting everything away before you arrive.
Prefer to handle groceries yourself? Walmart and Safeway in Spearfish offer online grocery ordering with pickup and, when available, delivery options. Spearfish is approximately 45 minutes each way from the Lead and Deadwood area, so we recommend planning ahead if you choose pickup. For smaller grocery needs, Lynn’s Dakotamart in Lead is a convenient nearby option, though selection is more limited and online ordering is not currently available.
Pre-Arrival Grocery Stocking must be reserved at least two weeks prior to arrival, and the $200 service fee must be paid in advance. Availability is limited, so early reservations are encouraged.
PACK ’N PLAY SETUP - $75
Travel a little lighter and let us have a Pack ’n Play ready for your little one when you arrive. We’ll deliver and set it up in a suitable primary bedroom with a clean fitted sheet, so your family can settle in without hauling extra baby gear.

BABY & TODDLER GEAR
Traveling with little ones? We may be able to help with select baby and toddler essentials such as high chairs, wagons, baby gates and other gear to make your stay a little easier. Contact us in advance with what you need, and we’ll let you know what options are available for your stay.
All baby and toddler gear is provided for guest convenience. Guests are responsible for inspecting, properly installing and safely using all equipment during their stay; Black Hills Adventure Lodging is not responsible for the installation, use or supervision of provided gear.
FIRESIDE S’MORES EXPERIENCE - $65 PER STAY
Everything you need for a cozy night of s’mores, ready and waiting at your vacation home. Your setup includes a tabletop Solo Stove, one smokeless gel fuel canister, serving tray, roasting sticks, one bag of marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate.
The Solo Stove, roasting sticks and serving tray are rental items and must remain at the property at checkout. The marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate are yours to enjoy during your stay or take home with you.
Please note: Open fires and wood-burning fire pits are not permitted at our properties. We also ask that marshmallows not be roasted over the homes’ gas fire pits. The tabletop Solo Stove provides a safe, mess-free alternative for your s’mores night.

IN RESIDENCE BATH & BODY COLLECTION - $175
Settle in with a beautifully curated collection of full-size bath and body essentials handcrafted in South Dakota by Juniper Apothecary. Thoughtfully arranged in a take-home basket, your collection includes shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, artisan bar soap, two bath bombs, after-sun spray and Miracle Muscles - an elevated assortment designed for relaxing, restoring and unwinding after a day in the Black Hills.
The entire collection, including the basket, is yours to enjoy during your stay and take home with you.
Please request this enhancement at least two weeks prior to arrival. Products and scents are subject to availability and may vary from those pictured or listed. Because these are personal-care products, guests are responsible for reviewing ingredients and determining suitability for their individual needs, sensitivities or allergies.
CELEBRATION DÉCOR
Make your arrival a little more memorable with custom décor thoughtfully arranged for your stay. From birthdays and bachelorette weekends to proposals, anniversaries and other special occasions, we can help create an elevated setup tailored to your celebration.
Contact us in advance with what you’re envisioning, including your occasion, preferred colors and any special details. Décor options and pricing are customized based on your request, and availability is limited.
Please note: Celebration décor does not permit additional guests beyond the home’s established maximum occupancy. All gatherings must remain within the property’s legally permitted occupancy at all times. Exceeding the maximum guest count is a violation of the rental terms and may result in the gathering being ended and guests being required to vacate the property.
GOURMET ARRIVAL BOX - $195
Begin your stay with a beautifully presented gourmet gift box waiting at your vacation home. Each box features 10 thoughtfully selected items, with a generous assortment of artisan cheeses and charcuterie, savory snacks, specialty treats, something sweet, coffee and other elevated favorites. A box of refreshing lemon Spindrift will also be chilled in the refrigerator for your arrival.
The entire collection is yours to enjoy during your stay or take home with you. Exact selections may vary based on season and availability, but each box will include a comparable assortment of 10 premium items. Please request this enhancement at least four weeks prior to arrival. Guests are responsible for reviewing product labels and ingredients for individual dietary restrictions, sensitivities and allergies.
