Welcome to your new favorite Black Hills vacation destination here at The Tree House! This custom luxury cabin is nestled among the trees in the highly popular Powder House Pass subdivision just a short distance from the local clubhouse with pool, on fully paved roads with paved driveway, and less than 1/2 mile from the main highway with access to all the local attractions. Located in the heart of the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor, you'll have many activities right out your door. ATV/side-by-side/snowmobile trails are just a short ride and easily accessible, the Mickelson trail is within minutes from the cabin and famed for its great hiking/biking through the Black Hills and Spearfish Canyon is less than 10 minutes away with amazing trout fishing, multiple waterfalls, and its great hiking through the rim-rock canyon walls! Deadwood is a short 15 minutes away with its casino's, great restaurants, and many local events like Kool Deadwood Nights car show and there is taxi service to/from Deadwood to the location of The Tree House. Terry Peak is only 10 minutes away with the best skiing/snowboarding options in the area as well. Some of the main Black Hills attractions like Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Keystone, and Needles Highway are all within an hour's drive down the beautiful 385 highway. It's a perfect location to enjoy the best things the Black Hills has to offer. Whether you're in the area to enjoy some trail adventures, sit back and relax on the deck and enjoy your company, or see the wonderful sites in the area, The Tree House is the perfect place to start your daily adventures and rest after your memorable activities!

The best part of the Tree House is coming home to your very own private escape after enjoying your days in the beautiful surroundings. The 3-level cabin offers a lot of room to spread out with the main living/dining/kitchen area open and great for entertaining with a walk out to the large deck area. The Kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops, 86" x 50" island with 4 cushioned stools, 10 cup Bunn coffee maker and 30 cup electric coffee maker, mixer, blender, electric skillet, toaster and crock pot among other cooking items. The main living room has a 108" custom hand-made ponderosa pine table with 8 cushioned stools. A gas fireplace frames the living area with a 50" TV with Dish with a vaulted ceiling spanning 2 levels into the loft. The main level deck is right off the living area that includes a 3 burner Weber grill connected to natural gas on the property, and also includes multiple chairs and a propane fire table. There's also a 1/2 bathroom off the kitchen and the master bedroom is on the main level with its own private bathroom. The upper level includes a loft great for kits, and 2 more bedrooms. The lower level includes a living room and TV framed by a custom-made fireplace along with a queen sized sofa sleeper, 2 electric recliners, swivel rocker chair. There's also a walk out patio from the lower-level living area that includes a great patio for viewing wildlife and a 7 person hot tub under the stars! Finally, the 3-car heated garage has a smaller fridge as well as an epoxy floor making it great for parking your ATVs and vehicles and enjoying the space with the driveway for your trailers. The house was perfect for the amount of people we had and the location was fantastic. I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the house upon arrival. The refrigerator was dirty plus had leftover food, no coffee canister, bathroom had a wad of toilet paper on the floor. The pots and pans all had to be cleaned prior to using, and the kitchen counter top was dirty. I found a sheet hanging off the deck. I paid good money to spend a week at this house. I did reach out to the management company and was told the cleaning company was overwhelmed, and the people prior to us made a mess. After cleaning the house up and buying a coffee canister (I left at the house for the next renters), we had a great time. The development is extremely nice and the area is great.

Vacation was amazing the only thing i didn’t like was the people driving side by sides and speeding when my children and i were on a walk. A lot were not considerate to little kids being in the area.

This vacation rental had everything that we needed for our stay! The Kitchen was completely stocked with everything needed and more! Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! The living space was a little smaller than we thought. King size beds in every room would have made it perfect! We loved the garage and especially the ping pong table! We had a lot of fun! A beautiful place to stay. Easy access to the trails and Just a short trip to Deadwood! Kristen at the clubhouse was so welcoming and full of help! Budi was ALWAYS quick to respond with questions! We will be back to Powder House Pass!
