We came to visit for the bike festival. The gravel on the roads in the development was tough for the motorcycles and wish I had known this earlier. The house was great and roomy. Owner responded to any questions or calls in a timely manner.

This is a nice place with great location and everything you need for your stay. The beds in the basement could use being replaced. A dehumidifier would be nice in basement as well.

The house was very accommodating - the downstairs area was really cold the first couple of days.

The location and accommodations were amazing. The house was perfect size for our family. Nice easy trip to the ski resort with 5 young children. We would definitely use it again. Beautiful

This place was perfect for 14 of us for our Christmas Vacation. Close to Terry Peak and close enough to Lead/Deadwood if you need to get groceries, a coffee, or just visit the local sights. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to go back some day. Everything we needed was on site to make our Christmas with Family special!!

Great house, will stay again! The location is quiet and rural but close enough to everything you’ll want to do. Easy drive to everywhere. Spacious and clean. Budi was awesome, always answered every message/question right away and all the instructions and information were clear.

House was ok but needs maintenance done everywhere. Hot tub was disgusting. Water should be changed after a long stay renter. Dirty dishes in cupboards. We found out dishwasher is in need of cleaning. Screens in dishwasher need to be cleaned once in a while. Load of laundry in dryer that we had to put away. Front door handle is wore out and sticks. AC didnt work. Lucky it was pretty cool at nite. Other reviews said MORE THAN ENOUGH ROOM FOR 5 TRUCKS AND TRAILERS. HAHA. One even said 6 TRUCKS AND TRAILERS???? We had 2 trucks small trailers and 2 cars and barely fit! Who are these reviewers???? Weber gas grill almost burned house down! There is so much grease at bottom by burners that while preheating grill, it cought on fire! Overall place was/is dirty. It is in need of maintenance and deep cleaning. Nice place but not worth $$$ could be much better. Seriously, fix/ replace grill or your gonna have big issues. Havnt did review on vrbo yet. I dont want to hurt your biness cuz im not that type of guy. It would be nice if you would fix items above so next family has better expirience than we did. Jason and Jessica Hawker

Overall, we had an excellent experience. We had all necessary amenities for a week stay with a larger group. It was especially nice for each couple to have their own bedroom. We were disappointed that the advertised pool table and ping pong table were not in the cabin, and the football table was essentially inoperable. These were key features considered during booking. We would definitely consider staying again.

We’ve been staying at the cabin every year for over 7 years. It’s perfect for our big family. Always clean and stocked with essentials and super conveniently close to the ski lodge.

What a beautiful home! First time renting a cabin and well above expectations. Everything was clean and had lots of room for our family to enjoy. Perfect location for anyone wanting to go snowmobiling or skiing. Not far from Deadwood. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had such a great time at Whispering Pines! The cabin is beautiful! We enjoyed our morning coffee in the hot tub! The location was perfect, nice and quiet in the hills, yet a quick drive into downtown Deadwood. Already thinking about our next trip there!

We loved the house! Great layout for a large group. Cleaners did a great job before we got there. We were able to park 6 trucks and trailers in the driveway with some maneuvering. Enough hot water for everyone to shower in the mornings. Shower head in the master bath could be cleaned or replaced as it was pretty clogged, but we managed just fine. Lots of towels and linens, so that was nice. We were there with our side by sides, and it was a short trip down the road to the trails. I would for sure recommend this place!

We were gonna start a load of towels, but when i opened the door there were wet, dirty towels in the washing machine. Only 2 jets worked in hot tub. We could not get the wifi to work, which I think is minor, but the manager would not respond. The pool table is really cheap. You could almost push the whole thing over with 1 hand! It was right across from Terry Peak and a very nice area. We had everything we needed!

Everything about our stay was very positive. The lodge was better than expected and provided everything we needed for our family gathering. We've spent more for houses that weren't as nice. We would most definitely stay there again.
