This home is awesome for a large group. This is the second time we have stayed here. The garage, firepit and living room all offer a fun place for everyone to enjoy activities or just relax. Very clean and maintained.

We had family (3 generations) from Minnesota, South Dakota, Colorado and friends from Florida. Property was well maintained and clean. It is close to Lead/Deadwood and also to Recreational Springs and Cheyenne Crossing. We enjoyed a great place to make our breakfast (egg bake, Breakfast burritos, muffins and toast) before leaving for snowmobiling. The steak, lasagna and pizza were great after snowmobiling! Hot tub, Foosball, games & cards and just reminiscing were evening activities. Would recommend for great family times!!

We cozied up by the fire, warmed in the hot tub, shredded the slopes, laughed while playing games at the large dinner table, cheered our football teams on the big screens, slept like babies in the comfy beds, cooked wonderful meals for 20 in the kitchen, and rocked spike ball tournaments in the garage. Oh, and the view of the sunrise from the front porch is second to none. This is a can’t miss property. Book now, or wish you did later.

Rusty Lantern Lodge was perfect for our Family and friends get together in the Black Hills. The house was well kept and met all our needs. Especially the number of bathrooms for our large group. Floor plan worked out great. Would Highly recommend this rental property for any large family get together .

I rented Rusty Lantern for my sister and brother in laws Bach parties and it did not disappoint! There was plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably and close drive to deadwood if we wanted to go to town. We will definitely be renting again!

It accommodated us well. We will have so many memories! So much laughter! The home was beautiful and close to pools. We enjoyed them also. Trails were close by for side by side. Thank you!!!

Very comfortable place for adults with 7 king size beds in 7 great bedrooms plus a bunch of queen size bunk beds for the kids if needed. Not to mention the rest of the well amended rest of the place. The only reason they didn't get all the stars is, with a check in time of after 4 and a check out of by 10am, understandable to turn around a place this size, I would think after 24hrs I would know about the status of the security deposit.

The accommodations were excellent, with space to gather as a group, while also providing ample space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for meal preparation. The sleeping arrangements were a perfect match for our group. The location of the lodge made the accessibility to the clubhouse/pool within easy walking distance. With Lead being nearby, grocery supplies were convenient. Our family really enjoyed the stay at the Rusty Lantern Lodge.

This was a perfect vacation spot for our large family! The house had all the amenities we needed with the hot tub, spaces for kids to sleep, games, access to the pool, etc. The only (small) downfall was maybe location for us because we had to drive to all the attractions we wanted to visit.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our extended family vacation. The bedroom above the garage worked out great for a couple with very young children as it was much quieter than the other rooms, the kids absolutely loved the bunk beds and the PacMan games. It was close to all our activities and the layout was perfect for what we were needing! We'll definitely stay here again!
