This is our 10th year with are group sledding in the Black Hills, the third time we have stayed in the Powder House area. We have 4 couples that stayed in the house, plenty of room for all of us. Enjoyed the 3 levels so we all had our own area of the house. We would stay again and recommend it to friends and family.

Definitely would reccomend. Also appreciated the yard space for the kids to play/explore.

There is great space to spread out and the outdoor space is nice. The only thing that could be improved would be the trash bins. There is only one bin for pickup in a house that sleeps a lot of people. It would a great option to have two trash receptacles to place garbage in.

Team Winter Retreat

We hosted our company retreat there with spouses and had plenty of space for privacy. We spent our days snowmobiling, skiing and exploring the area and came back each evening for a family style meal, games, a mad tournament of bags and ping pong, movies and relaxing. The house was perfect for our group and room for more. There were a few small items that the manager of property would not have been aware and she jumped and came over to resolve. We will be back!

Perfect for a Family Reunion

It’s in a beautiful location, very clean and well-maintained. The hot tub, massage chair and fire pit were all hits with everyone! The kitchen was well-stocked too. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property!

My wife complimented me three times this trip on my pick of cabins. My only complaint, I wish I could have taken more time to figure out how to get the thermostats set right as it went from hot to cold fast that weekend. But definitely won’t deter from looking for it for next years trip.

The property is located in the highly sought-after Powder House Pass development found in the epicenter of the Northern Hills recreational corridor. Proximity to local ATV/snowmobile trails is unmatched and makes for a convenient base camp to access the trail system from the property. You're also just minutes away from skiing and snowboarding at Terry Peak, a short drive over to some incredible hiking and waterfalls in Spearfish Canyon, just a 15-minute cab ride into Deadwood for some great restaurants and gambling, and a beautiful hour drive through the Black Hills to Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Mount Rushmore, Keystone and more! The fully paved roads make it a perfect place for those classic cars for Kool Deadwood Nights or motorcycles coming to enjoy the local windy roads and the driveway has enough space for a trailer or two. There's easy parking, great cellular coverage and you get access to the PHP community clubhouse that includes a heated pool open all year, a pool table and foosball table located in the clubhouse, and finally a new splash pad that will be available in the summer months - a truly unique amenity only found in Powder House Pass!
Quittin' Time boast a well thought out 3 level lodge that makes it great for spreading out and finding a place for everyone to enjoy. The main level has an amazing open living, kitchen, and dining room filled with windows and natural light with a great forest view. There's a large kitchen island and well-stocked kitchen along with two refrigerators, a large TV with gas fireplace, and dining table that seamlessly comes together for a wonderful place to entertain and cook your own meals. As you go to the upper level, you have a small loft with a desk if you need to work a bit, and a full body massage chair that that is a blissful experience after those dates enjoying the local trails! The lower level has an amazing game room with a foosball table and curling table, along with an 80" TV! There's also a wet bar with a wine fridge just off the living room, and a walk out that leads to the 7-person hot tub with Cool-Off seat, and a fire table with a view of the stars! You'll also love the heated deep garage with room for trucks or several ATVs!
