The only reason I can't give it 5 stars overall is that the pillows were terrible, very small and flat/thin, we didn't sleep well with them and of course getting a good night's sleep is an important part of a stay. If they would upgrade the pillows would stay there again in a heartbeat...if not, we'd look elsewhere.

Family Stay at Jackalope Lodge

Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devils tower, and Custer State Park. The lodge provided so many amenities that it made it nice to just sit and relax there for a couple of days. I would highly recommend renting this lodge!

Hot tub was nice to have but a little confusing on how to use the settings. Awesome kitchen and comfortable rooms. Nice central location to do lots of sight seeing! Owners were very responsive with any questions we had.

Great view of the hills and pretty private even though there are neighbors close . It’s a quiet area and was perfect for my family . We did notice items left in both refrigerators onsite , but just went ahead and left them as we found them . The hot tub wasn’t working , but after I contacted Budi , someone came very quickly to fix the issue. It was a very nice stay and I would rent this home again .

Very nice and solidly constructed property. Would definitely consider staying here again and would also recommend to others. The community clubhouse/pool is a nice bonus for swimming or smaller get togethers as it also includes a small kitchen, lounge area, and game room.

Plenty of room to space out and not be crowded. We also rented the home next door to accommodate additional family. It provided a great opportunity to have a lot of quality time together vs staying in a hotel. The surrounding area was beautiful as well. Highly recommend!

There were enough beds for everyone plus 3 1/2 bathrooms! Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool and clubhouse! Awesome vacation rental!

The open living and kitchen area is filled with natural light with large windows with great views and dark wood beams accenting the ceiling and setting the mood for that cabin feeling. All the appliances are brand new and there's a large granite countertop island perfect for entertaining your group. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and ready for your upcoming vacation! A beautiful rock fireplace and a flat-screen TV are in the living area to enjoy on those nights in and there's Dish network on the living area TV's, WIFI at the property and Netflix on multiple TV's. Laundry is also conveniently located on the main floor. There's two main floor bedrooms both with king beds and private bathrooms as well and a wonderful deck leading off the main living area that you won't want to miss!
On the lower level there's a perfect mini bar, pool table, large flat screen TV with sectional and don't forget the arcade game with 3600 games!!! There's also some great board games, a Wii game system in the bunk room and an under-the-stairs playroom great for kids!! The two bedrooms on the lower level are perfect for some added privacy and there's a great patio leading off the main living area that includes the hot tub.
