Location was perfect for trips into Deadwood/Lead as well as close proximity to hiking trails and other activities. The only suggestion I would offer is to stock the bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, etc. Everything else was provided to make our stay comfortable and the management company was extremely accommodating!

This vacation rental was perfect for our family and enough bedrooms. Outdoor loving space was great as we enjoyed grilling, hit tub and fire pit and morning coffee I sitting in the rockers. Grandkids enjoyed the swimming pool in the development community center. Development was nice for walking and access to mickelson trail was nice.

The home is beautiful inside and out! We loved the floor plan, decor, and really enjoyed the hot tub too. The location was perfect for three days of side by side riding, great food and drink just minutes away. Budi was so nice to work with. We would definitely stay again!

We brought our 5 kids and friends (total 9 adults) for Presidents Day weekend. We arrived on Friday evening and found the cabin to be prepared for us to enjoy. All of the amenities for us to prepare meals and relax were available. The kids found the community center, hung out there for some time, playing pool and shuffle board.
The location to Terry Peak was a short 10 minute drive, perfect for getting to the slopes.
We all enjoyed the hot tub daily. The cabin was spacious, allowed for all of us to find space to relax after a day on the slopes.

Very nice and clean rental with plenty of room for 10 guests. Close to fun small town bars and restaurants. Close to snowmobile and 4-wheeling trails. Parking was tight for ATV trailers but with some imagination we got it accomplished. Overall an awesome stay!!

This was our first time in the area. There was 13 people in our group. The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group. The location was ideal as it was close to a gas station, and in prime location for us to hit the trails with our UTV's. It was very clean and spacious. Budi was very easy to work with and available when needed. Would highly recommend to make this your choice of stay.

Overall, the rental experience was great. We did have one issue with the final payment causing a duplicate charge. But after a call to the property manager, it was quickly resolved. Wifi in the house was a little spotty. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Great location near Terry Peak skiing and historic Deadwood and Lead. Super clean and well stocked. Comfortable beds. Outdoor fun right next to hiking on the Mikelson Trail and a year round heated pool provide outdoor adventures too! We used the snowy front lawn as a sledding hill for small children and they had a ball. Due to COVID restrictions the clubhouse was closed but I’m sure that would have added to the fun. The pool and clubhouse are an easy walk away. Budi was very responsive to every question. I would highly recommend.

We thought the house was vary nice and comfortable. It was located close to Lead and Deadwood. Sturgis was only 10 mile away.

While the kitchen island is actually the kitchen table as well and fit 10 of us, the seating was very uncomfortable. The stools had no back and no padding. There wasn't enough room in the living room for all of us, so we hung out at the table much of the time in the cabin. The toilet downstairs needs some looking into. It's wobbly as if it might not be bolted properly. Overall though it was a great stay.

Only complaints was that the garbage was full when we got there & never got picked up throughout our stay so had no place to put our garbage when we left. Otherwise, 10 minutes to restaurants, entertainment and casinos, with a quiet, peaceful night away from the noise and crowds.
For the house itself, it is set up with all of the conveniences that you would need to prepare meals and spend time together. The decks are nicely furnished, and the home is quite comfortable. I understand there is a new pool in the community that you may have access to, ask when you check in.
The staff are responsive to inquiries. We had a question and received a text back immediately, and someone came out the same day to address it.
Only comments leaning towards negative would be that the AC struggled to cool the top floors during that run of 90 degree days we had in August, but the nights are pretty cool. Also, the water pressure is not what you are used to at home.
This home is as described, is comfortable, and served as a great base for our Black Hills vacation.

Beautiful new home construction. Home is very well equipped and had lots of room for our large family (10 people total). We were very comfortable there. The kids were disappointed, though, that the neighborhood pool was not open during our stay.

The hot tub, washer, dryer, dishwasher all worked fine. However, there were a few other issues that need to be addressed eg., poor water pressure after two people took showers. Others are detailed further below. Also, the location of the Hideaway Haven is a bit far from the local big attractions eg., Mt. Rushmore. The return drive to the house after dark was stressful because of all the deer in the area close to the road.

Other issues needing attention:
1) Missing DVD remote in basement making playing movies very difficult. Had to use personal computer.
2) Missing cushion on 1 chair of outdoor fire table.
3) Coffee pot continued to show 2-4 errors with each pot. No instruction manual.
4) The external key pad opens both garage doors but internal buttons only operate one door. When leaving, if one door is up and the other is down, you need to open second door for both to go down using key pad. Remotes for each door would be easier.
5) Response to reported issues could have been faster. We reported some problems via text on Mon., but waited for two days for a response, which only came after a second text message.

Beautiful new home construction. Home is very well equipped and had lots of room for our large family (10 people total). We were very comfortable there. The home was very, very clean and we loved spending time in the kitchen standing around the island playing games. I would stay here again! The only small concern was the lack of hot water. We did call the owner for a propane tank and they brought it right out. I would give this home 5 stars!!!

Great house, nice and cozy, very clean. Was perfect for our 3 day weekend in the Blackhills for a girls weekend. Beds are comfortable. Easy access from Hwy 14A.
