The house was beautiful and setup perfectly for 3 couples enjoying our UTV trip. Lots of space, great to have access to a garage, relaxing entertainment in basement for evening shooting pool, playing fooseball and use of hot tub. Everything listed to enjoy a home away from home. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and come back for another stay. Small issue with wifi but a quick response from manager and figured out. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood and friendly. Great starting point for each days ride.

We recently stayed at Gold Run Lodge, and it was the perfect location for the activities mentioned in the title- close to the Mickelson trail for biking, breweries in the area, and only about an hour from the Wildlife Loop. There was plenty of space for our group of 6 (3 couples). The home was well-stocked and clean, and having room for bicycles and one of our vehicles in the garage was nice (not quite room for 2 vehicles as there were some other items already being stored in there when we arrived). There was ample parking in front of the house as well. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and foosball table. One slight disadvantage was the lack of stable internet and cell reception, but I was kind of expecting it based on previous reviews. Communication with the property manager prior to our stay was satisfactory; we did not encounter any issues during our stay that required us to get in contact with them so cannot speak to how that is handled. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend Gold Run Lodge to future renters.

Was a great little cabin for our weekend trip. There was just a few flaws, the cabin description said there was internet, but it didn't work and we didn't have cell service in the cabin. There was mold on the basement shower curtain. And thank goodness it was a cool weekend, the window AC didn't cool the cabin very well. But overall, it was a nice place to stay for our weekend in Deadwood.

Only issue we had was the AC. Was told it had AC and yes it does but it’s a window unit up stairs. So it doesn’t do anything for the down stairs area. Now I wasn’t to concerned about it but my guest was upset about it. So I would suggest to let everyone know what kind of ac it has.

Wonderful place. Just as described. Very easy access. I called the agency to let them know that the coffee maker didn't work. I was told a new one would be there that afternoon and sure enough it was there. It truly was everything that the site description said it was. We had seven people and Five motorcycles and there was room for everyone and every bike. Great Place!!

2nd year in a row we've stayed. We love the room the cabin provides and how close it is to the trails. We dont have to trailer to trails we can leave right from cabin. The cabin is just like being at home, comfortable and relaxing. We love being able to make our own meals and have a large table to eat together.

This lodge was perfect. Clean, spacious, comfortable inside and out with plenty of outdoor seating to relax with the family. Nice game room downstairs. Great location that was very peaceful and quiet with wildlife right outside the door.

We have stayed at this property before, and wanted it again. The cabin is very well kept, stocked, modern, and accommodating. We enjoyed trail riding in the hill and is a great location to headquarter from. We will probably stay there again.

A great setting in the woods. We took our motorcycles out there and the paved roads and garage access were great. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 stars was because there was virtually no internet connection. Tough not to have that when you're not familiar with the area and want to do a little research on where to ride, and what to see in the black hills.

Loved this cabin. It was nestled in the sticks and quiet and clean. There was plenty of wildlife to watch like deer and coyote searching for mice was cute. It was very spacious for us crowd. Lots of amenities that others have left behind. Not enough toilet paper for all of us, we had to buy some. Air conditioning was little, but night time we opened the windows and used fans, was perfect. Hot tub was used alot, it was a little off colored when we got there but i'm assuming that was from the water. half the jets didn't work. I wouldn't recommend if you were on a family vacation because it is way back in the woods and is a hour drive to rapid city. But all in all we had a great time and it was a great place to come "HOME" to after a long day sightseeing.

Beautiful place. Very new. Nice to have ALL the kitchen utensils,fry pans, griddle etc. Great to have the laundry equippment too. Budi made herself easily available, really great hostess.Previous renters had left the grill messy. Our group cleaned up the spilled grease from the overflowing catch tray. Grease had also spilled on the wooden deck & to the concrete below. Budi quickly took care of getting the foil inserts for the tray. Found cleaning products in the closet for the job. There were holes in the front bedroom screens,which we "plugged" with tissues. The lower portion of the lower level screen door screen had a hole also. Have pics if needed. Very small window A/C in living room area, glad we did not need to depend on that as the nites cooled off very nicely. The place reflects a quality build, we made good use of the garage too. Exellent place to stay, very quiet @ nite in the area. All in all would rent again if in the area. Would have no problem recommending the house or Budi as a rep to work with. Thanks

Everything was clean, nice, comfortable and kept in working order. I would highly recommend this house to others with family. We enjoyed the pool table immensely along with the hot tub. We liked the peace and quiet of the country and the ease of parking. Thank you for making our adventure so wonderful in the South Dakota/Black Hills during the month of July 2017.

The house was just as pictured. They have added a window A/C unit that helped to keep the family room cool. The kitchen was perfect to work in as a family and we enjoyed making great meals together. Everything was clean, nice, comfortable and kept in working order. I would highly recommend this house to others with family. We enjoyed the pool table immensely along with the hot tub. This property is very clean and well cared for. It has everything you need to be comfortable. The owner was very responsive. It was easy to get to from Lead and Deadwood and only a 2 hour drive to the Wind Cave and other attractions. Very quiet surrounded by large pines and tall grasses.

We saw most everything in the Black Hills area. The house is in the north so it is a drive to Custer Park and Rushmore, but not too bad. We also drove to Devils mountain and it is about an our and half away. The house is in very good condition and the only complaint would be tat because it is so far away the verison internet really did not work, but that is not all that bad. Did not come to be on the computer. Also, the remote in the lower level TV needs batteries.

We could not have asked for a better location and it cabin for our bike get away. The cabin had everything we could ask for including the hot tub and the garage to store our bikes. The cabin was neat, clean, and had a wonderful atmosphere of being in the woods. We are looking forward to our next stay!

We did a little family vacation with the kids and grandkids. The cabin was perfect size. The multiple levels was nice to spread out. We all enjoyed the

Beautiful place. Very new. Nice to have ALL the kitchen utensils,fry pans, griddle etc. Great to have the laundry equippment too. Budi made herself easily available, really great hostess.Previous renters had left the grill messy. Our group cleaned up the spilled grease from the overflowing catch tray. Grease had also spilled on the wooden deck & to the concrete below. Budi quickly took care of getting the foil inserts for the tray. Found cleaning products in the closet for the job. There were holes in the front bedroom screens,which we "plugged" with tissues. The lower portion of the lower level screen door screen had a hole also. Have pics if needed. Very small window A/C in living room area, glad we did not need to depend on that as the nites cooled off very nicely. The place reflects a quality build, we made good use of the garage too. Exellent place to stay, very quiet @ nite in the area. All in all would rent again if in the area. Would have no problem recommending the house or Budi as a rep to work with. Thanks
