In order to make the process of renting a property from Black Hills Adventure Lodging as easy as possible, we have added the following information for your consideration.

Once you have your property picked out and have chosen the rental dates, the next stage is to use the contact form to contact us and let us know which property and dates you require.

Upon receipt of the initial email, a member of our staff will contact you and give you the following information:

Deposit amount required.

Rental amount required and the date by which it must be received.

Any property specific requirements.

The preferred method of payment is Paypal . Paypal accepts all major credit cards and it is the #1 3rd party website for safe and secure online transactions. Why use paypal .

Simply log into PayPal and click the “ Send Money ” tab and follow the on screen prompts. The email address to

send the funds to is bkusser_spe.midco.net.

For those clients who do not use paypal or don'’t want to sign up for a paypal account we also accept

personal checks or money orders.

In order to rent you will be required to sign a rental agreement. This agreement will be emailed to you, but we also have the agreement in a PDF format for you to download (see below) and read at your convenience. We also have other forms you can download and read to make the rental experience as pleasant and as trouble free as possible.

Policies

Reservations can be made by phone or e-mail.

Payment: due 60 days in advance of reservation.

Rally Payment: due in full by May 1.

Check In: 4:00 p.m. Check Out: 10:00 a.m. Unless other arrangements have been made prior to arrival.

You must be 21 years of age to rent our homes.

Key Arrangements: made prior to arrival date.

Rates DO NOT include sales tax or cleaning fees: Rates are in US FUNDS

Deposits: Equal to one night’s stay with exception of Sturgis Rally reservations. Sturgis Rally reservations have a $1,000.00 deposit. Deposits may be held up to two weeks from day of departure for inspection of any damages.

Rally Deposits: taken at time of reservation and are non-refundable

Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival

Amenities included in all homes: stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, laundry facilities, gas grills, bedding, towels, place settings for occupancy of each home, and small appliances.

Cleaning requirements: Each home has individual cleaning fee. Dispose of all garbage in designated area. Empty Dishwasher, dishes clean and returned to cupboards.

All homes are smoke-free.

No pets allowed.

Minimum Stay Requirement: 2 nights, 3 nights for Holidays

Holiday Rates with a 3 night minimum: Martin Luther King Weekend, President’s Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas thru New Year’s Holiday (December 20-January 5)

Vacation Home Disclosure

Black Hills Adventure Lodging will not be liable for damage, loss, or injury resulting from negligence of guests or friends of guests. We will not assume responsibility for loss, delay, or expense caused by weather or other circumstances beyond the control of Black Hills Adventure Lodging. Black Hills Adventure Lodging reserves the right to change accommodations without notice, up to and including the date of arrival, due to maintenance or sale of home. We will attempt to provide equal accommodations or upgrade at no additional charge. Rates are subject to change without notice and availability.

Hot Tubs

Black Hills Adventure Lodging does not have control over the mechanical performance of private hot tubs. If a hot tub becomes inoperable during your stay, and maintenance cannot be performed, you may contact our office for further instruction. Many times the homes are rented back to back, and the hot tubs will not have had a scheduled cleaning. Patience and guest help may be needed to ensure the hot tub will be usable during your stay. You may be asked to add more chemicals, spray the filter, add water or keep on a cleaning cycle. There will be no refunds for inoperable hot tubs. Black Hills Adventure Lodging is not responsible for any act of negligence in the use of a hot tub. The renter assumes all responsibility for self and guests in the care and use of any hot tub. Persons with heart trouble, pregnant women, and children should avoid use. No alcohol before or while you are in hot tub. Black Hills Adventure Lodging is not responsible for any accidents. Use at your own risk.
