This mining themed vacation home is the perfect place to kick your feet up after a long day exploring the black hills or on the local ATV/Snowmobile/Ski trails. There's so much do nearby, enjoying the amenities of this home will be welcomed. This 6 bedroom, 3-Level, Custom-Built Black Hills Cabin, is within walking distance to the clubhouse heated swimming pool. Located Southwest of Terry Peak, you can be skiing in minutes! You can also access the local ATV/Snowmobile Trails & Mickelson Trail just on the other side of HWY 14 - You can ride your ATV's directly to the trails!!

The 6 Bedrooms have 6 Queen Beds plus 4 Twin-Size Beds - plenty of space of all your friends and family joining you on your next vacation. The Main Level Coach House has an open Kitchen/Dining/Great Room with Gas Fireplace. The Loft includes a Master Bedroom with Private Deck. The Lower Level of Cabin has a Large Family Room w/ Gas Fireplace, Wet-Bar, along with Walk-Out Patio & Hot Tub (just a few steps to the Swimming Pool at the Clubhouse) Hardwood Flooring & Custom Tile throughout the property and includes Flat Screen TV's, Central Air Conditioning, and laundry area so you can enjoy all the amenities from home.

Coach House is accessed on all paved roads and has ample parking for your vehicles and recreational vehicles. You'll also get access to the clubhouse with gold mining decor and log accents which boast many amenities including the heated pool, dual hot tubs, sauna, work out facility, gas grill, family room with bar top, air hockey/pool table, and WIFI. With all these amenities, you'll never want to leave your peaceful home away from home!

Bedroom Configuration:
Bedroom 1 - Upper Level - 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds.
Bedroom 2 - Upper Level - 2 twins as a bunk bed
Bedroom 3 - Upper Level - queen bed.
Bedroom 4 - Main Level - Queen Bed
Bedroom 5 and 6 - Each have a Queen Bed

For our family of 11, this was the perfect spot. The home is spacious and well stocked with kitchen items, towels, and amenities. The club house is walking distance from the house and activities, grocery shopping, and gas are only a 10 minute drive away.

Other attractions are 30 minutes to 2 hours away depending on what you are looking to do.

We had a fantastic vacation!

We had 11 guests staying two nights here and the house fit us comfortably. The Deadwood cabs had no problems picking us up and taking us home. These cabins are the only places I stay when in the Deadwood area.

The Coach House was perfect for our family vacation. We had 4 families with a total of 15 people all stay comfortably in the house. The location was fantastic. Close to the pool and clubhouse. The kids had a blast.

We had 14 family members including children and everyone loved the cabin, enough room to mingle in the common areas but spacious enough that it didn’t feel crowded. The deck was a big hit for morning coffee. We would all come back again. My only criticism is a couple of the beds could be replaced but not a deal breaker

We had a group of 10 guys, and the Coach House was perfect for us. Everyone had their own bed. The house was clean and had all we needed during our stay. Everything worked, and the hot tub was hot. I'd definitely stay here again.

Great experience. Just what our families needed to accommodate everyone. Only issue was the last night we were there they closed the pool unexpectedly-really disappointed the kids. House had everything we needed. A bit of a drive to where we wanted to go but we knew that. Picked this location due to size and amenities. Wish we had more time to spend in the area and therefore in the house.

The coach house was a very pleasant stay. Plenty of rooms for everyone and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and basic cookware. Hot tub was a wonderful bonus and was used multiple times. Was plenty warm and had room for approx 6 adults comfortably. The club house was disappointing. Pool table was in poor shape and only 1 broken pool cue. Hot tubs in club house were mediocre. One wasn’t full enough to run jets and the other the jets intermittently would work. The heated pool want as warm as expected also. Overall good experience in cabin but club house could use some work.

The clubhouse is heavily used during big holiday weekends as you can imagine but the pool at the clubhouse is maintained at 80 degrees and the hot tubs at the clubhouse were drained and refilled on 22nd. These are both monitored daily, so we apologize if these weren't what you were expecting. Pool cues were just replaced as well, so thank you for letting us know of this new issue. New ones will be purchased. Thank you again for choosing us for your vacation!

We had a great stay. This house was more than enough square footage to accommodate three families. Grandparents on main floor, one family upstairs, and one downstairs. We all had enough space to be comfortable. The home was very clean, it close proximity to the clubhouse (across the street), and had a great hot tub. We were disappointed that the owner didn't respond to our text regarding upkeep of the hot tub. Most places we've stayed, there has been a process once you've used the tub to keep it clean but we couldn't find this information and he never replied to our inquiry. The kitchen has all the basic necessities. If you're planning on doing a lot of cooking, take your own skillet and griddle as those two items were not usable. Overall, a great experience and we'd stay here again.

We loved our cabin in Gilded Mountain! We had a large group that stayed at "The Coach House," and it was the perfect home away from home. The clubhouse was awesome as well with tons of room to accommodate everyone's preferences. We will definitely be back soon!!

The cabin was in great shape and comfortable for our group of 16. A closet or dresser would be handy. The clubhouse was a disappointment - the pool table was unusable and according to the description there was to be another game table. The kids loved the pool though.

We booked the coach house for a little get away for my fathers 65th birthday. The house was perfect for 4 different couples and 5 kids. Everybody had a great time and the access to the clubhouse was excellent. Don't expect 5 star beds, but as long as you don't have that expectation it'll do the job just fine.

This was a very nice place and the location was just right for getting to most of the places that we wanted to see. Short drive to Lead, Deadwood and a few good eating places to. It accomidated all of us very nicely and was very clean.

Great place for smaller groups or groups with kids. Place was nice and clean very easy to book and has very friendly staff. Wished there were more towels as we had rot wash them each day and alternate morning or evening showers as there was not enough towels for 14 people. Wish refrigerator was bigger it was very small for this size of a group for over a week. Dressers would have been a huge plus or at least closets we all had to live out of our suitcases there was no place shelves ect to store our clothes.

12 of us stayed in the Coach House, look spacious enough for all of us, clean, and it's a great location for all the things we wanted to do.the water wasn't super hot or warm enough for all of us to get showers in. Beds weren't super comfortable but served their purpose.

The coach house rental was great! Thank you so much. The amenities were amazing. Our children utilized the pool a ton. The bedrooms were nice and loved the fact that there was enough room for both kids and adults. It was a great “friendcation” for all of us.

We had a great time. The cabin was the right size for your group and things were in working condition. The cabin could have been a little more clean when we arrived. There were dishes in the cupboards that were dirty and the hot tub water was pretty stale. We have stayed at other cabins with this company and haven't had these issues. Overall, good experience and will be doing it again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. It was located in a great area; close to skiing and Deadwood.
We walked out the back door to the main club house and really enjoyed using the heated pool and sauna. Even better was the good sized hot tub connected to the house on the lower back patio.

Great vacation place, we really enjoyed ourselves. Budi was great to work with!! Only thing that wasn't great was a couple smoke detectors were low on battery and chirped, Budi came back and got one replaced and the other we just lived with. Was a great vacation though, hope to be back again sometime soon.

The house was nice and in a beautiful setting. There were a couple of things that could be improved. The bedrooms had no closets or dressers so we could not unpack our suitcases all week. There are no TV's in the bedrooms which is fine but there were also no lamps for reading if you wanted to read before going to sleep.. The house was clean but the gas grill was so dirty we couldn't use it because it kept flaring up.

We had a great time in the area again. Have rented cabins in the area 5 separate years and these cabins are great location and very nice inside and out. Very safe area and lots of wildlife walking around in mornings.

Ten of us spent a week at the Coach House.The cabin location was great and convenient to town and just an hours drive to local attractions like Mt.Rushmore and Custer State Park. Budi, the property manager, was great to work with and was eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We initially didn't have internet service and she promptly took care of that for us.She also brought us a couple of additional kitchen items to use. The property was clean and well maintained, but it was lacking some things that would make staying there more enjoyable. There are no closets in the cabin, so it would be nice to at least have dressers or something to hang your clothing on. The kitchen could also use additional cookware (larger pots and pans) to accommodate large groups since this is being rented for up 12-14 people. Overall, we were pleased with the property and would consider renting it in the future.

This was our 5th time staying on Gilded Mtn (2nd time in the Coach House). We love everything about it. The walk to the clubhouse is just steps away. The only thing our group might have missed was WiFi to be able to listen to music on our Bluetooth speaker. Budi @ Black Hills Adventure Lodging makes your whole trip hassle free!
